Yes, Turkey is great! The very next trip will be on Crete (again) with some friends. We've been there in 2013 and it was pretty nice: th-cam.com/video/Jg4Nxld599c/w-d-xo.html
The next "big tour" might go from Van (endpoint of this tour) to Teheran or from Bishkek (endpoint of th-cam.com/video/ouoE2wKib-Y/w-d-xo.html) to Kaxgar.. or something completely different:-)

How did you transport your bike and your belongings? From your video, it looked like you directly started from the airport.

that's correct. We startet directly from the aiport. We brought our bicycle as "sport luggage" - most airlines offer this option. You only have to wrap your bicycle for save transport.
How did you fix the camera on the bike? It is so stable!! Trying to find the best technique! Awesome journey! Congratulations

In 1:27 of this video you catch of a glimpse of the mount:
It's a Manfrotto Superclamp 035 (quite heavy, but stable) plus the CROSS CB5.1 ball head and one half of the connecting column of the CULLMANN FLEXX tabletop set.
I also tried the clamp of the set, but it's bending and therefore not suitable for this purpose.

It's a custom bike, so it's difficult to say in one word. The steel frame is by Hardo Wagner.
Thanks for quick reply. I also want to buy a steel framed bike like Specialized Awol but yours look like a very solid bike. Also going to look for these tire u r using.

Getting a good steel frame, took me some time.. i guess it'll be quite difficult to get a Hardo Wagner, but maybe you can search for Fern-Fahrräder or Fahrradmanufaktur. They build very good frames
