Thanks for the thorough video! Could you just block off both ports (at both hose clamps) and call good? I know it's not terribly expensive for WR but what I'm thinking is on a couple bucks in parts; especially for something no one will see?
Thanks Massive for the video! Any idea if you can access this area of the engine on a 2 seater just by lifting the dump bed? Or are there plastics that need to be removed?
LOL, answering ya simultaneously on the RMAX FB group but I think you'll be able to work on it from inside the cab side with the dump bed raised. No plastic removal necessary.
The tune alone may help get you to max speed faster and help sustain top speed, but top speed is more a result of clutching. You may get a MPH or 2 more with tune alone, but you really need to combine it with clutch mods to squeeze out more max top speed. Weller Racing's sheave is on the horizon.
An additional benefit to blocking AIS is that your exhaust header should run cooler at idle.

Hey Mike, yes you could do it that way as well.
Thank you for the info on what the AIS is and what the block off plate does . Are you running a Weller tune ,if so what tune ?
Hi Rick, thanks for watching! I am running the Weller PV3 87 octane tune, which is also customized for the Hunterwork's exhaust tip.
@@MassiveOverkill Thanks for the reply,

Awesome 👍
My unanswered question is does the Weller tune help out top speed any?

Couldn't you just put a cap on the cover where the hose connects instead of installing the plate?
You would want to cap off both ends or others have stuck a large BB in the hose.
My Grizzly has AIS too
Wow amazing how many Kim’s u drive
'Kim's'?
Sorry bud but what does this mod do? Cheers
I explain it in the video but blocking off the AIS helps with easier starting.
@@MassiveOverkill okay thanks. Sorry for wasting your time.....
