@@toryroper8685 Correct, I just google searched for the apk file. I forget where I found it. Anyway, I used a Lenovo laptop and once the file was downloaded I simply dragged it on to the SD card.
@@toryroper8685I used a micro SD card in my PC laptop. I saved the APK file to SD card and then put the SD card into the AP. from there I moved the file onto the AP apps folder and it worked fine.
@@charlesbeckham7746 I had trouble removing mine the first time. After finally getting the tablet out I examined the button and locking mechanism. What I noticed is that the button doesn't move the locking tab evenly. I recommend trying to lay your thumb or finger across the entire button and press down while at the same time pushing down on the tablet. I have a glass windshield installed too but was able to do it. Worth a try. Good luck!
Hi Danny, I was doing some accessory wiring and removed my adventure pro. Cleaned all around the dock. I charged the unit while I was wiring etc. When I re installed the unit, it acts like it's not getting any power from the machine. The adventure pro doesn't recognize that it's in the machine, everything is N/A. Any suggestions?
What would be amazing would be to incorporate apps as gauge selections in Adventure Pro, so say you could select inclinometer as center display of your dashboard.
Well this isn't working for me. Downloaded Onyx OffRoad Maps (58mb) to my 32gb Mini SD card (FAT32) but the message I get when loading onto Adventure Pro says that the file is too large. I also see that your apps display and file names are different than mine.
I got the Agama car launcher loaded and working thanks to your video, but I downloaded the trial version to make sure it works, then when I try and pay for it, it keeps telling me error and won't allow me to pay unless I go thru google, then it won't recognize my google account on the adventure pro. Frustrating.
Yeah, that's the frustrating part about having to do work arounds. You need to find a version that's not a trial or that's already paid for. I ran into the same issue.
I apologize in advance, I'm not tech savvy. I wish I could do more with my adventure pro other than what's going on with the machine. I can work my navigation on my phone just fine but so far adventure pro is nothing more than a nice dashboard. Maps to this point are non existent

Did you download the APK file to a Mac? If so, how do you upload to the SD card?

I am just impressed you got the tablet out of the dash. I have had my RMAX for 6 months and have yet to figure out how to remove the tablet.
i feel your pain... is it locked or unlocked.. i have windshield so its tight getting fingers in there to push button hard enough
@@maxxmayfield2914 It is unlocked, the release tab doesn't seem to want to release the tablet. One day, it will happen...LOL

Have any of the pins stuck inside the mount and aren't making full contact?

How did you get the full paid version without the Play Store. I get an error when attempting to buy the full version.
(I've heard) you can download cracked or hacked versions of the APK.
How do you reset the max elevation to 0 after a ride?

I've been trying to add to the adventure pro with no luck. Where did you find the apps? I searched on a windows PC with no luck.
When you're searching for an APK it's all about the key words and finding the correct one.
I cant seem to remove the tablet even when I turn the key, is there a trick?
Every now and then I have to give my tablet a wiggle as I'm pressing down on the button for it to pop loose.

(I've heard) you just Google the app you're looking for and add apk to the search. Then you'll usuallybe able to find them that way.

You can actually download the apk file on the apps browser, then install. Skip the whole computer thing
You do the computer to load them onto the SD card. The AP doesn't have that much storage.
