- [Scene: A Zoom call between Ethan and Ryan.]
Ethan: Hey Ryan! Good to see you. How’s everything going?
Ryan: Hi Ethan! Not bad, thanks. I’m still getting used to this city, though. It’s a bit of a maze for me.
Ethan: Haha, I get it. It takes a while to figure things out. What’s up? Need help with something?
Ryan: Yeah, actually. I was trying to find my way to the city library earlier, but I got completely lost. I thought I’d ask you for some guidance.
Ethan: Oh, the city library? Sure, I can help. Where are you right now?
Ryan: I’m at a coffee shop on Elm Street.
Ethan: Got it. Okay, from Elm Street, you can head south until you reach Pine Avenue. Then, turn left and walk straight for about three blocks. The library will be on your right-hand side.
Ryan: Hmm, Pine Avenue... Is that the one with the big grocery store on the corner?
Ethan: Exactly! You’ll see the grocery store as you turn left.
Ryan: That sounds easy enough. But isn’t there a faster route through Birch Street?
Ethan: Birch Street? Well, technically, yes. But I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s a bit confusing with all the small alleys, and there aren’t many signs.
Ryan: Ah, I see. Thanks for letting me know. I’d rather not get lost again.
Ethan: Good call. The Pine Avenue route is much simpler.
Ryan: Got it. What if I wanted to take public transport instead? Is there a bus or something?
Ethan: Yes, there is! There’s a bus stop near the coffee shop you’re at. The number 12 bus goes straight to the library.
Ryan: Oh, that’s convenient. How long would the bus ride take?
Ethan: About 10 minutes, maybe less, depending on traffic.
Ryan: That’s tempting, but I think I’d rather walk. It’s a nice day, and I could use the exercise.
Ethan: Fair enough. Walking it is, then! Just remember: Elm Street to Pine Avenue, turn left, and walk three blocks.
Ryan: Got it. And the library will be on my right.
Ethan: Yep! You can’t miss it.
Ryan: Thanks, Ethan. You’ve been a big help.
Ethan: Anytime, Ryan. Oh, by the way, if you’re planning to grab lunch after the library, there’s a great little sandwich shop just a block away from there.
Ryan: Really? That sounds perfect. Where exactly is it?
Ethan: It’s on Maple Street, just north of the library. If you exit the library and turn right, you’ll hit Maple Street in no time.
Ryan: Awesome. Thanks for the tip!
Ethan: No problem. But if you’re not into sandwiches, there’s also a pizza place nearby.
Ryan: Pizza sounds great, but I think I’ll stick with the sandwich shop this time.
Ethan: Good choice. They have amazing turkey clubs.
Ryan: I’ll definitely try that. Thanks again for everything, Ethan.
Ethan: You’re welcome, Ryan. Let me know if you need help with anything else.
Ryan: Will do. See you later!
Ethan: See you! Take care.
