That is cool ! I built the first release of that Richard Petty monte Carlo salvinos jr made a few years ago and it was such a great quality kit 😁 it looks good to
Nice story about the car. I’ve not got mine. Probably because of the holiday. Most likely, I will get mine tomorrow. Nice decals with the kit too. They really take care of us. Thanks for sharing.
I was just at the Petty museum earlier to pick up a few kits that Richard signed for me. I told the lady at the front desk about the new kit and to my surprise, she didn't even know that Richard drove the 42 in that race. She thought it was a Kyle kit. I guess it goes to show how that became a forgotten thing of NASCAR history. Kinda makes this exclusive kit even more special
@@TheLukaCeeChannel Reboxing and doing some improvements. They update the date of release. Round 2 does the same thing with 50 year old models. Tuf Lon is one of those also. That is why I asked.
Salvinos needs to do a better job of instructions. Some pages lack part numbers only coloring. Stop mixing the parts especially motors. Just asking not whining.
If Salvinos actually cared about their customers they would do a better job at quality control! The next gen kits molds are already trashed with a ton of flash, uneven part seams, and details like the radiator fins that are almost completely gone!
They’re selling 30-40 year old kits for $50. Same molds new decals. That’s why I got out of the builders club. That along with, out of 12 months I was a member half the cars were petty cars and 2 cars were chase elliot cars. So 8 out of 12 months I paid for models I didn’t want. It would be cool if you had a choice like the old CD clubs.
@HarryHafsak I hear ya! I was a founding member of the club. I couldn't stand listening every week with the broken promises of availability and the lack of care for the customer. "Hey guys we screwed up and the driveshaft is too short but you're Modelers, you can fix it" BTW we are upping the price cuz were as good as Tamiya now. Yeah right!
I am not a club member and my reason why is by now I would probably have 6 or 7 unwanted Big Bertha MC's kits. If this release is exclusively for club members only as a bonus perk why produce extras that members can buy for their pals? Hope they limit the extra purchases to 1 or 2 extra per member. You know there is going to be guys that will try to buy a case or more. I'd like to have one as I'm a big time King Richard fan going back to the late 60s. My Petty collections gonna need one. Thanks for the back story and the old TV clips. Great video Luka.
The history, the kits, let's hope others keep passing this around. It's just incredible.
Thank you
Great looking kit. I joined the builders club today. can't wait to see what kit i get sent .

Love the back story. Great info, keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!

Yes they do.
Great research and education. I can't wait for mine!
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it.
You know your stuff Mr. Cee!
Thank you.
Thanks Luka for the info. Hopefully mine will be here this week. California to Florida takes awhile
That is so neat what they do for the members. I wish I was into NASCAR, If I was, I would be all over this.
Nice review with back story thank you, should get mine soon, takes a while to get to England :) I don’t do FB so miss that part but enjoy the kits

That's interesting
This is a cool kit. Here’s hoping that in the future we may get a kit of Richard’s green and white 6 car that he drove for one race at Charlotte.
Ya never know.
That is so cool i cant wait till mine comes in! KOTM club is awesome!
Very cool! Interesting back story. Funny! You were pointing at my wife when you mentioned you didn't like the look she was giving you. LOL.
That would work for a short track modified stocker
That's awesome!
Nice kit
Non club members like myself could always get a set of correct decals along with an '81 Monte Carlo.
I'm thinking that these unique Powerside/Salvino jr decals are not going to be available to purchase. But I sure hope they are.
1981 Winston Western 500
Where can I see the race in the video you are showing?
On You Tube
Nice 😅
How old is the actual model minus the body and decals?
The first one came out 6 years ago.

I can see these on the secondary market 😂
I know you will. And they are going to be 🤌💰
