- We are house sharing with another mother and her son for the first month of our move to Mexico. We began the search for our own apartment! We want to be in walking distance to stores and very close to the beach. We also want something very affordable! This will ensure that we don't have the expense of renting a car.
We had a lot of help from Liliana at Blue Playa Rentals. If you are in the area, contact her and I am sure she can assist!

Hey, we love the videos! Our most favorite was #1 because of the price but we know you don’t want to be so far from the beach especially without the pool. Jazz also liked the last one but we saw that the kitchen and the bedrooms were kinda small but it did have a pool. That’s our comment but no need to rush if you’ve got the time keep looking until you find something that fits you both best!
Thank you! A few people said number one too! I am actually reconsidering it now too. We could always get a small pool and put in the backyard too, now that I think about it. A taxi ride to the beach a couple of times a week may work. I found a few more to look at! Thanks tuning in! #Decisions
Hello thank you so much for sharing this is so helpful to actually see. I’m looking to move in a year or so, I’m in the research stage now. I have the same main things on my list also being close to a beach/pool access and close to walk to shops. I was shocked at some of the high prices the purpose to move aboard is to get away from those type of state prices. Please continue to share your journey I have 2 girls 3 & 8 and I will be unschooling/world schooling as well, good luck!

I was shocked to see some of the high prices as well, but I hear they are higher, but COVID has knocked many prices down. However, Playa seems to be such touristy place, and more expensive as a result. Best wishes on your journey! I know it will be rewarding for you and your girls!
Taylor's Mom No problem, I don’t know yet I’m trying to find out what areas that have my must haves and be reasonably price. I heard of Merida from single mom travel but hear it’s really hot and Playa but I think there are different Playas??? I’m watching TH-cam videos/vlogs and reading post on fb groups and taking notes but your video was perfect you share the pricing, area, & what it looks like, thanks again.

How awesome! You both will love it! We stayed at the Marriott for 5 days. I would recommend maybe searching a little longer and getting a feel for which neighborhood you like better!
