  • This runner’s knee self-massage, with myofascial and active release, is effective for relaxing and lengthening tight thigh muscles, releasing the structures of the knee, and reducing soreness and tension. Pull up a chair and follow along!
Runner’s knee, or Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome, is an umbrella term that basically just means knee pain. There are many causes of knee pain, and it’s best to figure out the source so that it can be treated properly.
Very often, alignment plays a major role in the development of knee pain, so it’s important to make sure that the feet, ankles, knees, and hips are aligned and moving functionally, especially for those who run, play sports, or do any other high impact activities. In addition, anyone who trains excessively is at greater risk for runner’s knee. The same is true for those who don’t sufficiently warm up before, and stretch after exercise. Pain can also develop from sitting for long periods, especially with crossed legs.
If you have knee pain, please consult your doctor before doing this self-massage.

@@rachelrichardsmassage9660 English is not my native language, so pease forgive me if it comes across as a little creepy, i will try and articulate myself as best as i can.
I do not have any knee or leg pains but watching you massage your legs was very exciting for me. In france we like to use the expression "ooh la la" . The oxford dictionary was not very helpful at translating this.

Thanks for this. I have numbness on the bottom of my foot in the heel and outside edge. This massage relieved some of that.

I look with curiosity to your modular book-shelves and try to understand how they were constructed. Can you make a short video on it and notify me here when you do it ? Thanks.

They're paperboard boxes made by a company named Waybasics. You can see a whole video of the apartment here: th-cam.com/video/v5qYXVQnEN8/w-d-xo.html

Mam can I do this massage for acl sprain.pls do a video on massage for acl sprain

If the ACL sprain is acute or inflamed, massage is contraindicated. If it's an old sprain that has fully healed, then you might find this video helpful.
