We pick up where we left off on our last video with the rack part of our rack and pinion design. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
Only 6 minutes in and it's already an excellent video. Taking the time to explain the logic behind the math instead of spewing out the formula is extremely helpful for people who learn like me (and apparently you)
This is super helpful! I'll be using this to work on future projects/videos!
There's a lot of great information here. Thanks for this!
Thanks Badge124! Glad you enjoyed it!
Your tutorials so straightforward and logical! Much better than videos from "pros"😅
looking forward to the next one, always struggle with joints and motion links.
You're 🎉 awesome! Thx for sharing 🎇
Thanks Xiaoshizi131!
awesome tutorial! Thank you!
Thanks!
Good stuff. I’m enjoying this series. One critique: It wasn’t obvious why you were making the pin as a separate body. I assume it is to be able to 3D print the base without supports. But, if you mentioned this reason, I didn’t hear it.
Good point. I completely forgot to mention why the separation. Yes, it's for printability. I'll talk about it in the third video.
THANK YOU!
You're welcome Jack!
Vladimir, how would you control multiple folding joints in a specific order, like a machine is telling it 1,2,3,4? As if each joint had a different amount of resistance.
Hi Adam. Not sure I understand the question. Can you explain a little more?
I am brand new to this designing stuff and enjoying your videos. I have signed up for one of your courses which brought me here. At 12 minutes into the video when you are creating the pin, I cannot get two separate bodies from the extrude like you do. I only have one 3mm thick. I have rerun the videos and rebuilt the project to see what I am missing but have not discovered it yet. Perhaps you can assist.
Thanks,
When you extrude, make sure to select New Body in the dialog box.
Hoping I could get direct contact info to hire you to help me design a rack and pinion system
