I don't think I have ever heard this piece performed in an English Cathedral..Simon Preston must have put it on when at West Abbey in the early 80's...I used to sing Leighton's Canticles and other choral music. Slight similarities to John Joubert in style, but unique of course. Many thanks Jeremy. I remember your recordings at Ely I think..excellent.
