Plowing around the world!

Controversial for some, routine for others. Plowing has been the dominating method to create seed to soil contact for a very long time. Today there is machinery available to get the seeds covered with soil even without plowing, so the plowed acreage may decline, and thereby save farmers of a very high cost and also increase the soils biological health.
But, a lot of farmland around the world is still plowed once a year. It is a massive effort that takes countless hours in tractors. Some have huge farms and therefore huge tractors, other have a small land and plow with a horse or an ox.
