Why experiment on such large area? Maybe take a small or some small areas to do no-till, cover with dung from cows, another with chicken, another with sea-salt like dr Maynard Maynes did in Florida

You can check it simple by putting some dilluted hydrogen peroxide over a handfull of soil; if it makes ‘sound’/ sizzles it means there is much material so it reacts with the hydrogen. Try it😃

You left out the carbon cycle ,carbon dioxide is on the ground plants turn carbon dioxide into oxygen even insect's

We compost Everything from the kitchen . Our garden is very productive .

Amazing video. Would add one additional element and that is to pay attention to the existing soil. Adding humus/compost is certainly important but conditioning your starting position is even more important. Example: seed alfalfa and other cover crops to get it to rip the existing soil apart. Four feet deep roots will help structure the existing soil.
