I am a music teacher and I often find the videos that are just full of the everyday sounds of faucets running, cups clinking, and floors creaking the most calming to me. I completely agree with you -- there's music everywhere, if only we listen. My music teacher in year eight once sat at the piano and left us sitting in silence for seven minutes to make this point. I loved it.
People ask me what music I listen to and look at me like I’m crazy when I tell them I don’t. Music for me is work. I don’t want to listen when I go for a walk, or am in the car, or trying to study.

@@bethan2600 There are hot water insulated carafes that you can buy so you only have to boil the kettle once :) Its the next best thing that doesn't require a plumber :P

When you bundle up to go for your morning walk, it reminds me of the scenes in the 90's version of The Secret Garden movie when Mary gets ready to go outside. Such cozy moments!

I love how Ruby changed her day schedule a little bit compared to the one before university, that she is not stuyding all the day without bigger pause. The fact that now she always finds enough time for herself in the mornings and spends evenings with her family. So lovely ❤️
I’m glad you noted that ‘you take your phone out when you walk to share location with someone’, as while them walks of yours and the woods look beautiful, it always best to be safe when alone.
I love how quiet the beginning of this video is, it makes it easier to focus on the beautiful imagery. Also seeing you happy when you're alone on walks makes me happy!

It's so easy to feel unstimulated in this world with constant screen time and what sometimes appears as manufactured fun activities (like theme parks or expensive holidays for example), however you have taught me to take joy in the simple things. I now get dressed every morning, I read instead of watching TV in the morning and at night, I eat healthily every day- and not with the goal of changing my body but instead because I respect myself... The list goes on and on, but thank you so much. (loved this video by the way)
Sadly, I think given the tragedies of the last few months, it's even more important that you highlight sharing your location with your dad. Really, really important that we do this - especially if walking in less populated areas. Excellent advice, Ruby.
It looked like such a magical day outside and your cinematography was just so creative and beautifully shot. It was as I envision in my head what an English winters day in a rural cottage setting could look like, your very lucky to live there I am very jealous. The Australian bush full of gum trees, banksia's just does seem as magical to me as elm and oak trees... less story like in a way.

Study tip: if you connect your iPad as second screen monitor of your MacBook, you can open the writing app on one screen and the pdf document in to the other, so you can copy directly and share all you are interested from the document it self. You can do it with the "sidecar" feature included in the last macOs and iOS or downloading "duet display" from appstore, both of them are capable of make annotations whit the iPad's pencil. Hope you find this useful
