I really enjoyed this! This is about my family and we still live on the farm where all of these events took place. I remember my grandmother telling me about her uncle getting shot and killed at the church along with other bits and pieces of the story.

Any historical story teller, in order to captivate the audience and bring the story to life that person Must have your voice, JD. No other will do. I have heard others try to read or tell a story and sadly they are nothing less than totally boring and soon folks are turning a 'deaf' ear to the voice. You have NO competition! 😄

I personally can not listen to even the most interesting story if the narration is bad. Despite how much I want to hear the story. The narration, full of emotion and meaning, and the story being written the same way (rather than as if from a text book), are the only reasons I subscribed. Seemingly simply yet surprisingly rare.
I also shared this with my uncle on Facebook. He is one hell of a violin, banjo Well hes very musically talented. I would love going to my Grandma's Uncle stayed with her on a farm in very small town in Edna Kansas ( 2020 census population 388 ) He still lives there. I loved listen to him play

I’ve heard a lot of stories about Pistol Pete and his wife. Cecil was the sheriff when I was a kid, so I’ve heard a lot about him, too. This was some interesting history of our county. You did a great job with the video and story.
