Evett, please suggest which KV motor should I pick for my Rustler 2wd. I will buy a hobbywing ezrun max10 esc and motor combo, but I am thinking between the 3300KV, 4000KV, 4600KV, or the 5400KV. which is best for what kind of driving?
Do you have a Rustler equipped with the XL-5 ESC and Titan 12T? If you do, forget Hobbywing and go for a Traxxas VXL 3S power system. Using the Power Up Program at a Traxxas dealer, you can turn in your brushed power system and go VXL for less than the cost of the combos you're considering. It's a 3300 motor with a 2 or 3S ESC and you have the advantage of the best product support in the biz. Keep in mind, you also need to re-gear the truck, install bearings in the outdrives to replace the bushings and install steel tie rods to make the setup viable if it's a stock brushed Rustler. So far as driving conditions, you can optimize your setup with gearing, tires and suspension options.
Thanks for a thorough explaination of the 12mm hex conversion, exactly what I needed to know for my e-jato.
You're welcome, man. Glad to help. Did you end up doing that conversion?

Hi do you have a electric conversion for the Jato 3.3?
That's sacrilegious and gay.
