- In this video, I show how I achieved this “TikTok Inspired” Twisted Faux Dread Locs look on my son. He really liked this style when he saw it so I tried to recreate it 🥴! It took multiple attempts for me to get this style right. So I share some important tips in the video about how to make the flat twists look like locs and how to do the two strand twists to make it look like a rope twist. I would charge depending on how much time it would take me to complete the style. Maybe setting an hourly rate for yourself would help with pricing. That’s my opinion though! ❤️
What shampoo, conditioner and oil he use?
He uses Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner, and olive oil!

I'm white and I remember doing the same thing but with far bigger sections (often times the entire ponytail, but sometimes smaller ones in the front pinned to the back of the head or used as an element in an updo). We called them rope braids. It is interesting that this is essentially the same base, but smaller and on a different hair type.

Are you sleeping with anything on your hair to protect it? Also do you sweat in your sleep? Those could be reasons as to why it’s getting messed up
