Hello again sir. My Hikvison Doorbell DS HD1, went offline. it say re-set parameters. Do you know a fix? I can't seem to figure out how to fix on NVR. It was working fine on the NVR before. It shows up seperately on the HiK-Connect app, with no problem. On the HIK connect w/NVR it shows off-line.. Do you know a workaround. It is TCP/Wifi doorbell.

It sounds like the doorbell camera was in DHCP and not static and the IP address changed from the settings in the NVR. Try rebooting NVR and if the camera is plug and play mode, it should fix itself. If you manually programmed the channel in the NVR with the doorbell cam IP address, you would have to search for the camera using SADP, get the new ip address and update the NVR channel settings.

Is the fan loud on this? Is it noticeable and does it stay at a constant rate or does the fan rpm increase if under heavy use?

@@inspector-tech mine was too loud for my NVR location behind the door of the entertainment cabinet so I relaced it with Noctua NF-A4x20 FLX, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin and it's quiet now.

The models 7600 ni "q2".. Vs "k2? Best?

The DS-7216HUHI-K2 is a DVR for Analog (coaxial) Cameras. The DS-7616NI-Q2/16P is a NVR for IP Network Cameras the use Cat5e or Cat6 ethernet cable. The K2 is a DVR and Q2 is a NVR. I prefer Q2 on new installations as IP cameras area a better picture. However, in some cases RG-59 coax may already be run for older analog cameras. If that is the case, you can use HD Turbo 2 megapixel high definition analog cameras with the RG-59 coaxial cable vs. running cat5e or cat6 cable for IP cameras.

@@WentworthCCTV thanks! I would like to use "acusense" but a very expensive nvr with that. The DVR IDS7208HQHI-M1 / FA, do you know it? Or better forget "acusense", go for NVR DS-7608NI-K2? I want to leave analogical but "acusense " seduces me.

@@Marcushin Yes the acusense has some advanced search functions, people counting and stuff like that. I have used it in some retail applications where asset protection finds it useful in building cases. The 16 channel acusense is only $150 more than the DS-7616NI-Q2/16P-4TB NVR, so if you are in a sector where all of that stuff is useful, it is worth the money. Most places dont need all those analytics though so we dont install a whole bunch of those acusense recorders.

@@WentworthCCTV The problem is the false alarms, the infrared with reflex insects, I want to trust the detections, crossing the line, I don't know if it will be enough, my recent purchase DS-2DE2A404IW-DE is coming, need test VCA functions of that.

@@Marcushin yes that can be tricky. I'm sure you know how to adjust the motion event sensitivity in the NVR, sometimes that helps depending on environment. The motion alerts are usually pretty accurate.
