I'm planning to do some motorcycle camping in that area in August or September. Can you recommend some camping areas that can be accessed by a touring bike. Hard packed dirt and gravel is ok just can't handle long distance with rough and soft roads .

If you head into the monongahela national forest, a little north east of the gorge, you’ll find great camping everywhere. There’s some nice spots along the cranberry river near Richwood, WV. Search for Big Rock Campground and your find it! Hard pack forest roads. Enjoy, and keep the blue side up!
