@@johngump5004 My wife and I had to go back to our car for something and ran into the band as we were doing. Great guys, they shook our hands and we talked for all of 5 seconds. I'm not a guy that gets starstruck, but I wish I would've taken a pic of my wife with the band because she is like a superfan! She didn't think of it either but oh well. We are in our early 50's and growing up with the 80's music, which the 80's set the bar, Nightly, Lany, the 1975, these bands are worthy of those accolades. The 90's and forward have sucked music wise IMHO. I'm just glad I've stumbled on to these bands. Like a breath of fresh air!
@@88dannyg What a great experience. Grew up on 80s music as well. Traveling for concerts keeps me young. Got to meet Nightly's singer at the merch table after the show in San Diego. Got a pic with him. Super cool guy. Caught Tyler outside the KC venue before The Midnight show and he was kind enough to stop for a pic on his way to radio interview. I feel like I'm in an old John Hughes movie when I'm seeing Nightly and The Midnight performing. He would've used their music.
I saw them open up for The Midnight about a year ago in Salt Lake City Utah. They sound absolutely amazing live and every one of their songs is perfection. I had never heard of them before then but i became an instant mega fan. I had to get their pretty pink vinyl of their first full length album. I'm so excited we'll have a new album at the end of this month. I can't stress this enough, every single song of their's is great!!!! I freaking love Nightly!!!
I agree. I never heard of them until Minneapolis show and was blown away. Got to see them six times last year and got my pic with the singer. After hearing them the first time, I told everyone you have to listen to them.
These guys are great! My favorite band right now!
I was blown away. Never heard of them until they opened in Minneapolis in March. Got to see them open 6 times this year and enjoyed every minute.
