    I don’t think you understand HOW MANY LIVES this video will change. Your ability to drop such knowledge in a way that just makes everything click should be studied. This video was my lightbulb moment and I’ll forever come back to it when I’m in that avoidant headspace. Thanks Leila!

    • @isaakhyde8327
      @isaakhyde8327 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      Greatest of fortunes with it! You can probably get started even before you can afford the bigger purchases. Think of making your own blends and sharing them with friends and such. Then figuring out how to package it. Then getting other people to get them and so on.
      I know a gal who drives 18 wheelers and wants to start her own trucking business and she's waiting on getting the truck. But she could start a channel on twitch and stream and build a brand around her trucker life and so on as she's getting there so that she can set up sponsors and such while on the road to it.
      Point being, there are tons of mini steps you can take towards making it real while you're prepping for the big leaps. Again, best of luck with it 🙏

    I journaled yesterday, writing down that I felt stuck and overwhelmed but had no idea why. I felt like something was off but I couldn't pinpoint what it was. Today, I stumbled across this video, felt the need to watch it and now suddenly, all makes sense. I keep myself busy with things that don't move the needle, so it feels like I'm doing something (so I don't hate myself for being unproductive) but at the same time, it causes me to feel stuck as it doesn't get me anywhere. And I keep myself busy with things that are easy and in my comfort zone, because otherwise it will give me anxiety and insane amount of fear of failure.

  • @GutRegeneration
    @GutRegeneration 4 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

    System. Root of causes. Experinecial avoidances (scared of? Just do it, Doesn’t have to be perfect, what feelings are you avoiding?)
    3:30 Avoid pain right now? All downhill from there. 1. Delaying the work. 2. Teaching braun that it’s painful, so suffering from getting started (creating more pain, anxiety, experiential avoidances)
    4:14 What happens when you Don’t procrastinate (Uncomfortable short term, gain trust, confidence, etc, that you can show up/ do, even when things are uncomfortable, upsides compound)
    4:44 Comfort creep (building positive and negative momentum/ habits) Pivot is difficult, uncomfortable for 3 days but habituate soon.
    7:01 Three headed monster of procrastination (Anxiety, Rebellion, Boredom)
    Anxiety
    8:57 ask these questions (If I do this today, will it make my life better or worse, what skill do I develop as a result, If i keep avoiding what happens)
    There’s a baseline anxiety (because of avoiding).. doing the work makes the anxiety worse for the short time.. but that’s the only way to get the work done/ get the anxiety to 0.
    Rebellion/ Ego
    Does doing this get you further or closer to your goals? If closer, set your ego aside and get it done!
    Boredom
    Boredom is the birthplace of success. Frame it like this… will this help in the long run/ 10yrs? Then do the boring work.
    15:34 The work that’s really exciting in the moment is not the work that’s gonna get us to the goals in 10yrs. Do the boring but necessary work.
    15:42 Aligning your actions to your goals and not the feelings. Instead of trying to feel good. get good at feeling bad.

    I love the detailed information in your videos.
    This is coaching/truth/encouragement rolled up into one. It makes me happy that normal, everyday people have access to this knowledge and they will be able to think and grow, make sense of what once confused them, or use your videos as a blueprint to reach tremendous goals. You will be acknowledged for changing the lives of students. housewives, plumbers, garbage men, business owners, CEOs, the church, etc. - leaders from every walk of life.
    So in the Bible it talks about a storeroom of gifts and talents for each person - no one left behind. Sadly, many people never ever withdraw their gifts bc they simply don’t tap into their potential bc they don’t know how, they don’t have role models or generational examples, so they just exist. Others have everything g in the world but they are stuck for many reasons, nevertheless stuck. Point is, I think you will cause people to tap into their personal storehouse and put those gifts and talents to use, making a ripple effect and changing the world.

    I am new to you and your content, so I am coming in without much expectation. I found this video very helpful. Incredibly. The visuals were a really helpful addition than if you directly spoke into the camera the whole time. It helped me visualize my life during these moments and realize how what you were saying applied to me. There were times when you spoke and I thought, “oh thats not my issue.” But then later I said, “oh wait… yeah, yeah it actually is.” Thank you!
    I have been feeling stuck for a very long time in my life. I am going to Barcelona today for 1 month. And I am using this time to hunker down and get shit done to move my life into my next phase.
    One note on procrastination.. sometimes I feel certain activities aren’t worth my time to learn and I can be doing higher value activities. But then I don’t have the budget to hire the good person and it is really hard to make a cheap person work out. Maybe you can speak to this?
