So happy you enjoyed the tour! Yeah Nick did such a fantastic job with this build. I think it took him around 18 months to complete the tiny house and we can really see why when we pause and look at all the little details everywhere. Thanks for watching :)
I love that the loft bed was accessible without a ladder. Ive had a few accidents in the past like spraining both ankles nearly breaking both and I always think these designs don’t account for life events. Where as this one does. Phenomenal design, plus all the wood is gorgeous.
Very true. A loft bed with barely any headroom and a ladder to access is not a workable solution long term. People need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night too and you can't be expected to climb down a freaking ladder while half asleep in the middle of the night. A proper staircase is absolutely non-negotiable even in a tiny house.
I agree with you. As a still-spry 70-yr old, I know that my easy ability to get around will not last forever and I do find myself looking at some designs and thinking, "what do people do about this when they get older?" "Sell and buy another one" is often not an option, so it is advantageous if safer amenities are already built into the design, from the start.
Nick is a genius with how much thought he puts into his tiny home builds. I love this tiny home better than any I've ever seen in the past 10+ years. I wish this video was longer to show more detail. Thanks!
Wow - I was excited when I realized who Nick is, as I remember his previous, oh-so-interesting builds. What a unique and beautiful design he's come up with for this one - I love it!
I love that a person can stand up in the loft. I wouldn't mind sacrificing a full size fridge to have this feature. Thank you for showing us this house.
I’ve been watching this channel and Bryce’s on tiny homes for a long time. I’ve seen many design solutions that I’ve loved, but I’ve never seen an entire house that feels perfect all the way through. Until now! The kitchen design blew my mind 🤯 and the bedroom landing is fucking genius. Paying attention to the energy flow through a space and how someone’s going to use it makes small spaces feel easy and comfortable. Congratulations Nick on your truly brilliant knack for design! I can’t believe I am friends with some of your friends. I can’t wait to meet you some day!
I absolutely adore Nick's work. Thanks for interviewing him and thank you Nick for sharing your work with us over the years. I can't wait to see the next one!
Nick is truly an special artist. That's a great work. So adorable and cozy. That's my secret dream of tiny house.Perfect!Thank you Nick for sharing your beautiful home. Good luck to you! 🍀🍀🤗👌🙏💓👏💓😉
Oh my gosh I'm in love! 😍 This is HANDS DOWN my most favorite tiny house I've ever seen! I love the warm wood colors on the interior and the big beautiful "bedroom." I'm not one for lofts either Nick! The kitchen is a smart design and the bathroom is beautiful! What an amazing concept. I honestly don't have one bad thing to say about this! I love it all. ❤️
Such a brilliant observation about adding the lowered platform in the bedroom level. Doing this absolutely gives one the visual/physical illusion of standing in a fill-height room.
I know a beer fridge when I see one!😆 The continuity of the wood is exquisite and calming at the same time. I would be happy just hanging out in the bathroom!
So many smart design decisions! The rounded corner wall! Lowering the entire bathroom! Stairs to the loft! And so much more. I love the cream and wood on the interior but if it were mine, I’d do a dark brown or black metal and wood exterior so as to blend in with a woodland environment better. That said, if this was parked in the burbs, it would likely blend in better as is. With so many comments about the fridge it makes me wonder…. Why not separate units; a fridge here but a freezer, that you don’t need easy access to could be put in another location. Just a small one would do. Then that fridge space as is would be plenty. Love the BIG double sink too. Tiny sinks are annoying! This build reminds me a bit of a U.K. canal narrow boat….which is a compliment! Great work!
This man is quite practical. There are a few pale wood accents that make the house look palatial. Like the rounded bowed beam. Gorgeous! With these, it doesn't seem necessary to fuss with smaller features throughout the house.
I remember your other builds featured on this channel, they are both amazing - but truly tiny. This is exceptional too - more so as it really DOES feel like a home - the bedroom 'steal' space is so smart and teh bathroom. what a very difficult set of angles to build I'm guessing. beautiful layout, impeccable finish. one of the smartest tinies I've ever seen I think.
This is a AAA rated tiny home for it's extremely creative, thotful and intriging design - the best I've seen! The rize of the stairs is perfection along with the landing, and the idea that a person can stand up all the way is a first! The bathroom - wow! The design of the kitchen space - large sink - flow through walk way - nice countertop space - shelves - another wow! The beautiful minimalistic wood look and interior design makes me think of the famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Is it even possible that Nick's build approach is somewhat influenced by FLW?? Would it be possible, using the same interior design - with the same rize of the stair steps to make the upstairs have a smaller bed and also have a small composting toilet - very small sink area??
Wow!!! You are absolutely amazing!! You’re work is so very beautiful ❤️ I love the house 🏠 very much ❤️❤️ This house 🏠 is the best that I’ve ever seen!!❤️
I love the design but it really does need a full sized fridge/freezer combo. If you are going to park this out of the city one has to be able to store food.
Omg I'm in love! Been trying to find that "right one" for years and years now. This screams exactly it. Wouldn't change one thing. Alot of attention in what helps the flow and things normal ppl miss like the bed onto a landing instead of a ladder. Or the baseboard heating on the couch. Only part I'm curious is legs get to warm?

Wow, thanks! I'm so happy you enjoyed the tour :)
I love that he put a fireplace in it. That's my favorite
This is design at work. This should set standards for making tiny homes feel not so tiny. Really nice work.

Wow what a master carpenter and designer, simply outstanding.
I love that a person can stand up in the loft. I wouldn't mind sacrificing a full size fridge to have this feature. Thank you for showing us this house.
You fixed the 3 issues I have with tiny home designs. THE LOFT IS AMAZING! The heater under the couch, genius. The sideways stove, genius!
Cette tiny house est un chef-d'œuvre.
Merci pour le partage.
petite maison?

As someone else mentioned, this is the nicest, most liveable tiny home I’ve seen so far!
Thanks for letting us share. This is a most wonderful layout and the interior is practical and functional as well as cozy and attractive!

I love it
Awesome job Nick. Very nicely done!
Love it!
It's the little details that make tiny house living more enjoyable. Really well thought out :-D
Lovely! Well planned… thanks for the inspiration!
Wow what talent❤ gorgeous tiny home
I love the design but it really does need a full sized fridge/freezer combo. If you are going to park this out of the city one has to be able to store food.
You literally don't need a full size refrigerator what you need is to dig a root cellar...be smart about it not taxing on the environment...
Depends on how many people you need to feed. For one or two people the small fridge is plenty.
You don’t need that, you need mainly to store dry food. A double drawer fridge and freezer combo would be good enough for the rest.
Who can afford to fill a fridge anyway.😊
The small fridge is plenty for the size of the home - the creative design of this tiny home is one of a kind!
Que precioso y práctico todo....eres un artista sin duda.
Beautiful
so beautiful and so clever !!!
Intriguing design. I would have liked to have seen more about the whole bedroom. e.g. closet, how the desk would work, how you would make the bed etc.
Great workmanship😊
So beautiful!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
