Don't know how many dumpsters you do a day but an auto tarper will speed you up with the tarping/untarping. Also, when we have to manually tarp, we hook the straps so that we can release 2 at the back and let the gate swing open to unload. Then go to the next full dumpster and pull across the full dumpster from the empty. Saves time in folding/unfolding the tarp. We have 1 spare truck that we don't have an auto tarper on. The rest have them and are so helpful. The landfill there was beautiful compared to ours in the Southeast. Lots of room.

For small trucks auto tarpers aren't good in alot of conditions horrible for city drivers

    Cool video 😀
Would it be better to start a business like yours by buying the first ever truck to be a Ford F600 or would it be better to go big or go home and buy a Big ass truck like ur International 1990.
For somebody that's never ever done anything like this with no experience???
    Thanks

Ok thanks, is it enough truck for your needs or do you think you would need to go to a class 8 truck in the furture. I looked at a 2007 gmc topkick with 33k gvw. That i think would max out with a 30 yard. Also where in ohio are you? I live in texas now but im from Pennsylvania and i lived in new carlisle, enon, fairborn area for about 10 years.

Aaron Hartland yep northwest Ohio. I have a bigger tri axle truck as well. I would recommend a single axle and a bigger one

Do you think you could get stated in the business with a tri axle or would you start with a smaller truck?

I own the truck so my co workers are my customers and they're usually pretty nice to work with as long as they pay there bill 😄
