Love your car. I own the 2.0 ltr 2000 beams engine version. Just wondering how many mpg do you get on this single turbo version? Mines like 8-9Kilo per ltr. Thanks in advance.
I get around 12L/100km with normal daily driving which is about the same as you, 8-9km per litre. But absolutely drinks fuel when you gun it, can practically see the needle dropping with pedal to the floor
Yeah I did check out the JZS171 crown’s and also the V8 crown majesta, but preferred the more “sporty” feel of the JZX110 vs the more “vip boat” feel of the crown. Didn’t get to look at a Mark X, but I do love them!
@@LifeofWings yes and its 4 wheel drive which is rare; can get a 3.0L turbo model also but they aren't as desirsble as Chasers/Soarers/Aristos etc as the Nissans are quite heavy and werent loved by drifters the same way Chasers/Crestas/Crown Athlete V/Mark 2s which had much more tuning potental...the Nissan Laurel C32/C35 Medalist models would be the closest desirable car i would say they also have an RB25 with rear wheel drive
Funny enough I’ve had lots of issues trying to put a pod filter on.. no stalling but running lean and lack of power until the ecu compensates and adds more fuel. Ended up going back to stock until I can figure something out. Will be making a video on it once I make something that works
@@LifeofWings yeh it really does seem hit and miss. I'm planning on retaining the J-pipe and the upper intake pipe and getting a HKS or Blitz kit to replace from the MAF onwards. As for running lean, i'm assuming you just hooked up an AFR gauge and was monitoring AFR's ?
@@aqcumber7942 Yep, the JZX110's and JZS171's seem to be very temperamental with the MAF. And nah the ECU chucked an engine light and when scanning it comes up with a P0171 code which is running lean. The scan showed the ECU had to compensate an extra 50% more fuel than what the MAF was telling it to give... From what I can read online it needs some sort of air straightener to get the MAF to work properly, but I've yet to confirm this
Keen to see more content on the 110 mate!
it used to be around 4-5kUSD Shipped from Dubai to Hargeisa before Covid now it's like 6-7k with the 2.0L 1gfe Stock Auto.
Yeah the 1j models are now selling for $10-15k USD actually at the auctions in Japan!

@@LifeofWings I've had cars doing 60 to 0 in 4 sec on the fuel gauge lol.
Thanks for the info.
Best car for daily to be honest if feul is not an issue.
Yeah it’s great so far, fuel is expensive but it is what is I guess…
More efficient than my old car though, and that car wasn’t even a turbo
Can't wait for the manual swap for the Soarer!
Me too!!!
Best!
ay congrats bean! i daily a grs184 crown
Thanks man! And ooft crown’s are sick, that’s the 3.5L V6 right?
@@LifeofWings sure is 235kw stock!
Iv seen mostly jzx110 with black interiors. Here in Pakistan we have mostly in baige interior trims
That’s interesting as I’ve only seen the black interiors here haha
You can also check out the Toyota Mark X and Toyota Crown

Rival to this would be the Nissan Gloria/Cedric, ive got a Y32 & Y34 but not as cool as a 1J. For sure
Haha Gloria’s are sick! And I thought they had a model that had an optional RB25?

thanks for the video mate, how much was the shipping fees from japan to australia?
It's getting a little pricey these days, was around $3k AUD for shipping and import fees, and another $2.5k for compliance
how much?
hey mate did you have any stalling issues with the intake ? Heard that the 110's in particular can spaz out with intakes sometimes

Does anyone know how much it would cost to change this car to manual?
Parts only you could do it for about $7k AUD with all new parts. Obviously depends a little bit on your local prices and clutch choice
