This is so vague for newbies in the plant community 😭 propagating was a good call, that baby has been lacking proper light for aaages (the longer the stem between leaves, the more it’s been searching for light) when propagating cut between nodes (if you can cut where an aerial root is even better) & allow the cut to dry (callus) before adding to water for higher success rates. You’re gonna have to wait 2-4 weeks before you see some real progress with roots. Don’t stress about changing out the water, just make sure to top it up when you see it getting low.
@GreyMann2 to let the cut dry out, if you put the cutting right into the water it will soak up too much water and rot. Let it dry for a few days and then out on water this will make it only suck the water it needs and allow roots to grow😊
@@joselemans49 Won't it dry out if you leave it without water for a few days? I really want to get a baby from my monstera. I got her from someone and she grew without light. She's so twisted that she bent down a lot and doesn't see the light properly

That's what I was gonna say!! 😢😅
Thank you 🙏
Answered all questions i had in few seconds, thanks 🙏🏻
Did you change water or just kept on adding water?
How long did it take for this result?
Water must be changed as many times as possible
Once a week is sufficient
The plant looked so skimpy! Glad you chose to propagate it, maybe try placing the new plants near a window. It needs light!
Once you cut down you let it get a callous before putting in water
What does that mean, get a "callous?"

How many days it takes.. I tried the same but still no root is there... It's 5th day...
It can take weeks and months, be patient it will happen 😁🙏
@@almir-kingofpentacles7529 thanks for quick reply... Let me wait and cross the fingers. 😊😊
5 days 😂 😅
This plant looks leggy and has small leaves with few fenestrations because it needs more light.
Thanks for the quick and easy
