this really makes me happy to watch. monster high was probably my second to favorite, after bratz, doll lines to play with when i was a kid. this was when the dolls first came out and shortly after that i stopped playing with and buying dolls because i was “too old”. but i wish i had kept my dolls because i just love looking at and holding dolls. i’m 20 years old now and i’m just scared of the judgement i would face by friends and family if i would just buy a bunch of dolls and shelve them.
Go ahead and buy you some! I've been doing that since I got a job earlier this year! Mercari and etsy are the best imo. I've been buying doll lots of used MH so I can do repaints, but you can do whatever you want!

I also don't have Shiver though -I got my Dead Tired dolls from a forum because Lala was lonely -I also have a bunch more nude/CAM dolls and two fairy customs that did not make it into this video. I never did! I got REALLY into collecting Winx when those came out so unfortunately I ended up skipping them. I REALLY regret it too. I would die for the Abbey!!

My favorite doll is Rebecca Steam, and I got her when she first came out. Sadly she was lost when I moved in 2016 and I am still really sad about it and I was to get a new one soon

Seeing sweet 1600 dracaulra makes me so nostalgic because I got her for my birthday in 2014 and I sold her in a yard sale or I loved her so much that I destroyed her 😭 and the only thing to her have is her skirt 😭
Do the dolls get dusty? When I had just a few I had them in a showcase, but now I need to put them on shelves. Any suggestion on how to keep them nice and clean?
Wouldn't pure acetone remove the stains? Everyone who repaint the monster high dolls using pure acetone or polish remover before they paint, and to make the watercolor to stick BEFORE painting, they spray MSC = mister super clear, and to build up pastels or get more pigments in general they use many layers with MSC to secure the paint work everytime they are happy with the result, and of course ALWAYS a finished layer with MSC when the paint job is complete 😊 just remember to cover the dolls hair and body if you have rerouted the doll, or want to use the original hair, and most of all remember to use mask if you use MSC and spray outside or on a ventilated area 😊 hope this information helps you, or can help someone here with doll stains and want to do a faceup on a doll 😊🙏 PS: use cotton swabs or cotton pads to remove the stains or makeup, with of course the pure acetone or polish remover. Rubber bands can pop or loosen over time and those rings are not only extremely rare but also extremely expensive. I would be devastated if I lost one. I saw them a few days ago in the MH drawer of doom in individual bags so I know they're safe
