Tied between when Jay gets possessed by Hettie & the episode where Sam is possessed by Thorfinn and when Pete's widow, Carol dies after choking on a donut hole & Sam doesn't realize that she's a ghost until Carol sees Pete.
my favourite moment was when isaac, trevor and sas were reading over todd's shoulder and he was reading soooo slowly. he finally went to turn the page but turned it back when he got halfway and the three burst out in anger
Pathetically obvious gag with a stupid premise that someone would actually use the phrase sucked off to describe a ghost moving to another realm really really poor writing
Trevor is my fav main character. He's like the little brother of the group. I also like Crash and wish he was a main; I even fan-fic him as Trevor's best friend and roommate.
This show never fails to deliver a good dose of laughter. I love all the ghosts. Alberta is my favorite. Did the show ever reveal the backstory for the headless guy? I can't remember and didn't know if I just missed it.
Hes the boyfriend of the prom ghost that sleeps in the attic I think. He didnt believe they were in danger from the murderer they heard on the radio and he parked in a secluded spot to make out. And the murderer kills them and cuts his head off.
@@AJJeskoI was under the impression Crash was a greaser from the 50‘s. He uses that lingo. I don’t believe they explain his beheading because he’s rarely around.
There actually was a tour to promote the series. CBS, presumably in partnership with Altoona affiliate WTAJ, set up a real Alberta Haynes Museum in Altoona as a promotion for the show.
She’s the voice of a bad gurl in Puss in Boots! I had just started watching the show ghosts and then I watched the Puss in boots on a streaming channel and I heard the voice. I’m thinking wait a minute that sounds like the basement ghost and here it was.❤
I feel that too. It’s so hard to pick a favorite character because the writing is so good on this show. They each have their funny lines. It reminds me a lot of how well Frasier was written and the new Frasier is even good to though Kelsey Grammer is carrying that at least for the first season, he kept me coming back to watch it and it was getting better but ghosts is my favorite show my favorite sitcom!
My favorite characters are Sam, Jay, and the main ghosts! If I had to pick a favorite ghost, it would be Pete, Alberta, and Flower! I watch the show with my mom, so when Carol was choking on the donut hole, we knew she was going to die. I loved Hetty's puns about Carol's death, they were very funny!😂 Ironic that she died choking on a donut hole, since she brought them!
I laughed so hard when Isaac confessed to killing Nigel. Everybody (the audience, Sam, Nigel himself) thinks Isaac is about to confess his crush on him and are encouraging him to state the obvious, only for Isaac to throw that curveball at everyone.
It's very obvious the cast is enjoying themselves . This is the only sitcom I've watched in years. I only have Paramount plus when a Drag Race All Stars season is running so I'm binging it now. Just starting season 3. Did the UK have more than 2 seasons? Clever the way the characters were changed for the two geographic locations. No caveman but an indigenous North American. Thorfinn is an added twist to our ancient history. I'm really enjoying the show and the casting is perfect. Bringing in new ghost characters as the livings visit places is one way to keep it fresh. Getting the back stories makes us love the characters even more. It was a relief to find out Trevor is a hero instead of pantless for the fun of it. And the basement ghosts. Just wanting them to leave the light on.
UK had five I think. I must watch the US version, I think I prefer UK because I am more familiar with the style of humour and the cast, but it will be cool to try it.
For those of you watching the UK version as well, don’t give up on it, it has quite a few serious moments in it, more of a dramedy, and the character development is slow, but it gets really good by season 3 (so after about 13 episodes). It might have fewer funny moments, but it’s worth it.
So many more hilarious moments that could make the list! My favorite comedy show! Sas storming off because Thor watched It's Getting Hot In Here without him. The whole stripper doing the dinosaur clicking sounds bit. 😅 Jay possessed by Hetty and mocking the "Irish" service man. So, so many....
So for season 4 I had some thoughts on what we could see. I was hoping that maybe we can see if Nigel, Stephanie, Crash or any of the basement ghosts have ghost powers. Or discover what Hetty’s power is if she has one. Maybe we can finally learn how Sas died. Or learn the nature behind how Crash lost his head. We will definitely get to see Patience. Maybe learn how she died. Find out if she has a power or maybe if she knew George when they were alive.
A Door that's Impenetrable to Ghosts?!? I LOVE it when the Mythology gets Expanded! Also: You just said all that so you could get sucked off! ... Busted! Also, Also: oh. My. GOD. He just Went Down on Us! - I have to say, I'm loving what I've seen in these shorts & I need the whole show! Great ensemble cast, but I only knew Rose McIver from the Netflix "A Christmas Prince" Trilogy & she shines (as does the rest of the regulars & guest actors! Long live the Ghost World & all its Mythology!
Love this show! I adore all characters, everyone is unique and funny in their own way! But, if I had to pick just one favorite ghost, I’d go with Thor, just because his character development has been very pragmatic, plus, he is so adorable, tough, yet sensitive, serious, yet funny! Best of luck to the show :)
I watched all 3 seasons of Ghosts last weekend. haha! My favorite episode was when Trevor asked Samantha to hire a stripper for the stag party. I cried laughing! haha!
In my version of the show there are five other ghosts: There’s Kurtis who is actually a moose that died during the ice age due to climate change and witness the extinction of many animals like the Mammoth and Smilodon so he’s lived the longest, and since he’s a ghost he is actually able to talk and most of the time thinks like a human. But before meeting Thorfinn he used to think like an animal but since he was alone for so long he actually drove himself insane which after a thousand years after meeting Thorfinn he began to get sane again. His ghost power is that anytime he moose bellows it creates a gust of cold wind onto the mortal plain. Then there’s actually a family consisting of Frank and Janet Matthews and their fourteen-year-old daughter Chloe. Seven years after Trevor died the parents decide to stay at the mansion for a vacation considering their very busy lives as an arson investigator and a detective back in New York, which the daughter wasn’t too happy about. But as they stay the three of them mysteriously die, which the couple actually spend a lot of their time trying to figure out but Sam eventually recognises them and informs them that the three of them as well as at least seventy-six people died because deadly food poisoning from a McDonalds that used bad meat which they remembered they stopped at, so they then help Alberta solve her mystery. Chloe spends a lot of time bugging and annoying everyone because being young she had nothing better to do but she had a ghost power where she is able to touch, pick up and interact which tech without any problems, but unlike Trevor that’s all she can touch. However, Sam was nice enough to get Chloe her very own iPad for Christmas. Finally, there’s a minor ghost named Gordon who’s a Bald Eagle but always acts shy and embarrassed because he died eating the remains of an animal who had a diseases that affected the bowels, which resulted in his power being he constantly poops every hour but is able to affect both the ghosts and the mortals. So, feeling ashamed he doesn’t live in the mansion but in the woods instead.
I love Sass, he is a bizarre combination of naive and sarcastic. My issue is that we seem to know how all of them died except for Sass which seems really odd
This show has a lot of funny moments but I’ll always love when Flower tells Thor she loves him just because she thought he was getting sucked off and Thor tells her WHY?! WHY YOU WAIT FOR NOW TO TELL ME?!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 He doesn’t get sucked off because it was the light from the police so they could turn off the fire therefore she tells Thor she was caught up in the moment 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm surprised that they're not focusing on the ghost catching company in Laian. They may be fools, but terrifying if you got trapped in the ghost trap 2000. Thought they would sue or try to take them down for almost killing Thor, Flower, and Pete
I love the show but you must try the British version that came out a few years before this version. Hard to believe that it is shot in Quebec and Sam is played by an actress from New Zealand.
I much prefer the US over the UK version. I think it has something to do with the background and less camera wobbling or the fact the US is more comedic and less gloomy
My favourite ghost is Sassappis, I would love to have him control my dreams anytime. Just as long as it is not during my dreams of performing on stage, because I do have limits.
