Thanks for your video. Marco is the most beautiful male voice we have in Italy, he is known as a very sweet, sensitive and emotional guy, which makes him even more special. During the Festival he had a fever and sinusitis, despite this he sang wonderfully! ❤️
The songs presented in Sanremo are meant to be the best Italian song and not for Eurovision, where a different style often prevails (funny/trash songs), but this is real music and he could win. The song is about the inner conflict we all struggle with, that's why he feels the song very much in his heart while singing it. The text speaks of two parts of the same person, the conscious and the unconscious that talk to each other, the life of dreams that collides with that of reality (just "Due vite", "two lives").
Truly a deep and emotional meaning, a beautiful music that together with the text take the audience into a dreamlike scenario. Furthermore Marco is an excellent interpreter, this makes the difference and makes this song perfect, because he transmits all the emotions to the audience that watches and listens to him, even to a foreign audience that does not understand the Italian language and this says everything about what a great artist is Marco.

Bellissima analisi, molto professionale e coinvolgente. La canzone è difficilissima, è stato molto coraggioso a scegliere di complicarsi la vita su un palco come Sanremo e poi all'Eurovision, ma Mengoni è proprio un purosangue. Ho tifato per lui ad X Factor quando partecipò, sicuramente uno dei vincitori più talentuosi.

Come hanno già scritto, prova ad analizzare la performance di Let It Be, sempre a Sanremo, dove raggiunge note, che solo chi è abituato a vederlo live, gli ha sentito fare.
E poi si, Klama alla Notte della Taranta, cantata in grico, voce sublime ed emozione allo stato puro!

Considering that Sanremo is a "song" competition, in one of the 5 night of the event, it would be interesting to randomly shuffle the songs between the singers. BTW Mengoni is great and he's going to win.
Well, I always have the same fantasy, but actually it's not just about the songs. Zecchino d'Oro is stated to be like that, but in Sanremo the covers night is there on the purpose to challenge the artists.
I also think it would be so interesting to see the Sanremo artists sing each others song
@@LetsTalkAboutSinging let’s say is quite impossible in a Festival, for a bunch of reasons. Certain ‘games’ can’t fit on an event like Sanremo, which is not a sort of X-Factor. It would be even unfair, because have to be a proper respect for artists, especially for those are already big artists. But covers and celebrations are still present, and I guess that’s the only way to balance the issue.
In the past there was the double version system (two singers for one song, also with big foreigner big artists, like Bonny and Cher, Louis Armstrong, Grace Jones, etc) but that’s another story.

Can i ask why you choose a studio version ? Perché ? con tutti i live on stage a disposizione . A voice must be analized on live performances. Mengoni live e' coinvolgente per il suo modo fearless di cantare . Concordo in tutto about voice control at bass chest mix belting to head and falsetto ..beautiful also the final distorsion.
Perché sfortunatamente ogni singola volta TH-cam mi blocca a causa del copyright. Non so come alcuni TH-camr riescano a pubblicare le reaction ai live o ai video ufficiali, la maggior parte delle volte mi bloccano e sinceramente è una grossa rottura che devo cercare di evitare 🤷♂️
