Honestly, I teared up listening to this song. I don't speak Italian or even know the theme of the song. But I can feel the emotion he's trying to convey, I guess. This is just so beautiful.

It's such a quality song. I did prefer a couple of other ones at Sanremo (Madame - Il Bene Nel Male & Lazza - Cenere) but this is an excellent option for Italy as well.

When I hear it now outside the context of Sanremo I can appreciate it a lot more. For me it was really overshadowed by several other songs. I just couldn't connect to it emotionally as much as I like his voice. But the emotion does come through, I can hear it now.
