this is a masterpiece! How is it possible that this ballad made me realize that I'm broken inside yet completely healed at the same time? I believe every word he's singing, every breathe he's taking and every word he's written down!

FYI He spoke about the possibility of using another song for the contest. In the next days he will go back to the studio and together with his musicians and management decide what to do, maybe rather than cut 45 seconds of this and potentially ruining the song it could be a good idea, we'll see!

i felt like he was singing (in an amazing way) something verty personal to him
with the right staging at Eurovision, this could give an impact similar to the way Duncan's "Arcade" did in 2019.

It's such a quality song. I did prefer a couple of other ones at Sanremo (Madame - Il Bene Nel Male & Lazza - Cenere) but this is an excellent option for Italy as well.
L'Italia manda bellissime canzoni classiche maschili, ma ha vinto con una canzone rock strepitosa. Ad ogni modo di ballads ne ha abbiamo mandate solo 3 in tutti questi anni

Loved the reactions, almost every comment was positive and for someone who fell in love with the song already since night 1 of Sanremo last week, I just loved hearing all these positive comments. In my personal opinion, I think Due Vite could end up in top 5 overall and atleast top 3 in the jury vote

At Sanremo there were way more suitable songs for ESC, but you know Sanremo winner isn't chosen thinking about Eurovision... this song will do very well nonetheless! Top 10 at least

There were other songs in Sanremo that are better for ESC, but we Italians vote just having Sanremo in our minds (Sanremo is older and way more popular here) and a well-sung ballad is something most of us love. However, I hope he changes the song because I think that something more uptempo would be liked more by an international audience. Then, if he does not change the song and the audience doesn't appreciate a classic Italian ballad, it's fine, as long as we serve quality.
I'm still looking for the right support group to get me over how devastated this song left me. Bellissimo! ❤️
The main problem, if he keeps this song, is that he'll have to cut almost a minute... which is a lot. Let's see what he decides to do..

When I hear it now outside the context of Sanremo I can appreciate it a lot more. For me it was really overshadowed by several other songs. I just couldn't connect to it emotionally as much as I like his voice. But the emotion does come through, I can hear it now.
