- Any opportunity-an occasion when we are in a position to make a decision that will impact our lives in a positive way-is a gift from God. The Lord gives us many chances to obey Him each day, and He gives each of us the privilege of having a personal relationship with Him. But too often, we let opportunities pass us by because we don’t recognize they have been sent from our heavenly Father. By definition, an opportunity is only available to us for a limited time. In this sermon, Dr. Stanley explains how we can make sure we don’t miss what God has in store.

When I wrote this last week it was coming from deep within my heart. I meant it. An opportunity arose that very day. I wrestled with The Lord all night of this day. At the break of dawn The Lord blessed me. I did not miss the opportunity. I am grateful The Lord God heard this 👆 little prayer and He answered me. I am surely blessed.

Jesus will come to anyone who cry out to him. He loves us all that much our father GOD IS PERFECT. AND WE WANT FOR NOTHING IN HIS WILL.
There’s nothing like listening to Dr Stanley give a message first thing in the morning. He is greatly missed and forever cherished.

I am truly blessed by the simplicity and yet bold faith of Dr. Charles Stanley. I always listen to his sermons. I saved some and go back from time to time.
Truly a blessed man, and for good reason.
There are pastors and then there is Dr. Stanley.
Do not boast in men.
Give me a break. There is nothing wrong in recognizing a man who is willing to be used by God. It is not the same thing as worshipping that person.

depends on what we view as him blessing. The scriptures has the answer to your questions
Every single believer has been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ.
Put into practice what He has shown you from His Word and He will give you more opportunities. It is for His glory, not yours, why should He not reveal His glory?
Same as me. But what i realised is that we have to CHANGE. We can't still be the same person after 4 years. We have to change and become like JESUS every day. When we change then we are getting ready to get what we've been praying for.

What an awesome message to start my day with. A true blessing from my God. When we listen he speaks to us. I recently move to a new location, I love it, I see it as a blessing from God. Every morning I pray in Thanksgiving, I ask God what purpose has he brought me here. Every step in my life has brought me to this exact point for God's purpose.
All glory goes to God. I'm also giving thanks for waking up. We're all blessed in many ways and some just take it for granted. Thanks for sharing ❤

I have been blessed for years for Dr Stanley’s teachings and his encouragement to read Gods word to back up what he is talking about. Gods Word first, live Gods will each day (well if we can) , Pray before the day starts and thank God he has stripped our sins off the canvas he painted for us each day, Tomorrow is a new day here or face to face with God. To believe Jesus died for our lives to have the opportunity for changing Gods will and adding ours each day and being forgiven for that is amazing. Then to listen to Dr Charles Stanley’s teaching through the bible, is the icing on the cake, bringing Gods word to life as if God is directing him in our favorite movie and its a perfect picture each time each day.
