Pecos was my DCP location in 2000. Will always have a special place in my heart. Served hamburgers and hotdogs back then. I kept that toppings bar nice and tidy 😊 I loved being a greeter and giving stickers to the kids. Some even asked me to sign them their autograph books ❤
We loved the toppings bar, we were on our honeymoon in 2000 and that was the first time I had eaten at Pecos. You made us real happy keeping that bar full the couple times we ate there. It became a must stop place all of our trips afterwards until they changed that menu. We liked the burgers and chicken sandwich. The ambiance was nice and we used to sit and wait then go get a spot for the Halloween parade . Great memories 😊
Loved Pecos Bill back then...we always stopped for a burger and the toppings bar was so good....we never eat there now none of us like the food at all...maybe it will change again for the better
The beef tacos were so delicious and one of my favorite food items at Disney. I’m so sad that they are gone. I go to the magic kingdom all the time and every single time I always would get the beef taco trio
My husband and I had the greatest experience at Pecos Bill! We were on our honeymoon and an amazing cast member noticed and sang a beautiful congratulations song!
I tried the Corn Mousse last week and it was delicious. Thanks for the recommendation! I was leery of it, but I like to try new things and this was a pleasant surprise.
Wow, this is an excellent review of the much beloved Pecos Bill’s (our MK go to for QS)! It was thoughtful, entertaining, and fun to watch! We ate there in May and found the quality of the food to be extremely lacking, it was like greasy school cafeteria Tex mex. Also, it hasn’t been nearly as good since they got rid of the toppings bar, which helped to mask the lower quality ingredients. Hopefully these new menu options are good and Disney will keep them that way, rather than chipping away at the quality of ingredients over time to save a few bucks as they did with the old menu! I am most excited about the beef nachos and the flatbread! Disney, if you’re listening, we want food that is consistently craveable, memorable, and around long enough that people will go back again and again! Carnivals and food trucks figured this out long ago, when will Disney?
FYI- the combination of beans and rice is a complete protein. I think it was the salad that had beans and rice so you wouldn’t need to add a meat and could be another plant based option.
Great review the poor burgers have to be cooked that way because there is that person out there that would scream “my food is not cooked, I am going to die!!!! If they saw even a dime sized area of pink or red. So it goes, sorry I missed you guys the other day, we still have 5 more days here, thanks again for the show.
Steamed Tamale is the only way Tamales are cooked. . There's a lot of profit to be made with Tamales. Masa is cheap and meat comprises less volume than the masa in a Tamale.
pecos bills was nice as the burgers came with tortilla chips and salsa now it fries. it looks like the double patty is the only option which i dont like.
@@eclipsehorse8693 I hope they don’t put a Tiana’s restaurant in magic kingdom Im over copy and paste era… I’ll start going to Land better parks anyway..
Pecos Bill's previous menu had some solid vegetarian options- is that still the case? Everything you are showcasing is meat heavy with no vegetarian "protein " option....
@@WDWNT I saw the flat bread option. ...do they allow you to remove the meat from other items as well? The menu on the Disney App didn't include that information...
I hate when queso is the only cheese choice for nachos,I love Nachos but can't stand queso cheese, it's so milky/creamy it hits my stomach and makes me feel nauseous🤢. Is there anywhere in MK and Epcot you can get Nachos with the good yellow Nacho Cheese?
Love the zoom action on Tom”s face after tasting the guacamole 😂
The utter sadness that is now the toppings bar. 😢
err *packets bar*

Excellent food review as always 👏🏻👌🏻

Love these reviews and the look on Tom's face after trying the guacamole! 😊
My face anytime I try anything with cheese on it.
I’m miss the complementary toppings bar at Pecos Bill, that was the best.
That’s been gone for years
@@WDWNTI know, just saying.
That and the hamburgers were our only reason for picking Pecos Bills. :(
Thanks Tom and Eric for this review! Great info as always!
omg the thumbnail pic made me laugh!! 😂
Great work, boys. So good to see Tom back doing reviews stateside. The Japan stuff was fantastic, but Tom belongs to 'Merica.
The editing for the guacamole tasting was choice!! I could almost taste it 😂😂😂

I can't help it, I am laughing at Tom eating a pile of beans and saying "without a protein" 😂
Well, an interesting protein
Great video editing
Great review! Second only to Nana's Blue Ribbon Corn Dog Review! Thanks Tom & Eric! Well done!

I know vegans don’t always want just beans so that’s why I didn’t phrase it that way, but you’re right
As always great review thank you
I was a passholder in 2006 and Pecos Bill would be my place to show up for a meal just for the fixin's bar. How things have changed!
Rosemont Horizon....a blast from the past 👍
It will forever be the Rosemont Horizon to me.
New offerings seem like cost cutting measures…less beef more chicken, beans, rice, etc? 🤷
Miss the taco salad that they had years ago!! Now that was good food😘
What style phone case do you have and where did you buy it from?
Good review. Guess I'll be trying both the chicken and the vegan dish.
Give us the rancho del zocalo menu please so much better
RDZ is like the Churro. So-Cal only. They cant transport it and have it even close to what its like in California.
Happy to see more naturally gluten free options without needing a ton of alterations or a chef consult. So win for next time I go on a WDW vacation.
Tom using zoomer terms is something I did not expect in this video
First 😊 looks ok. But I will miss some of the items on the old menu
Nice job making a Mickey with the queso, fries, and guac
Haha, that really does look like bomb shelter guacamole. Did Disney buy some Army surplus they need to get rid of?
So is the flatbread the same one they’re selling at MNSSHP?? I know that one became an instant hit, so curious if they added it on permanently!
Columbia harbor house has been my favorite. Peccos better than Columbia?

Why no one put BBQ seasoning on fries before this is beyond me. Lays BBQ is one of the best flavors!
Look at these two handsome devils
awesome new menu! now, are they working in new shade for that area?! Y'all were melting and that's before eating hot spicy food!
Ugh Pecos WAS my fav 🙁
When in MK when I want QS I take a boat. This is a week OK.

You can still get a regular burger w the fries. The only change is that there’s no more bacon.
@@samueljuskiewicz8505 which sucks as the burgers are lacking.
How about an entire new theme for the restaurant.
So sad!!! I loved the nachos at Pecos Bills! These ones don’t look as appealing to me..
We miss the fixin bar and burgers a lot just hasn’t been good since 😢
From 6:36 to 13:40 it feels like I ordered a mix of Chipotle and Taco Bell at a Disney resort.
Looks like a south western menu at least they’re trying to make a little better version
Skip salad - pesticides plus seed oil in dressing. Not as healthy as people think! Oxalates and solanine are another thing. ❤
🤔 Soooo.... "Pecos Bill" has built back better....😂😂😂

The tamale and the Mexican chocolate aren't on the mobile order anymore.
The tamale is today, but not seeing the chocolate verrine
Is there a kids menu?

Well duh. Pizzerizo is rat pizza. It even says it on the billboard at night.
SWEET CORN ICE CREAM????
Not so Hidden Mickey incoming at 19:00 Thanks for the review!
So, I guess they're not going to put in Tiana's restaurant?
Hopefully not the golden oak outpost Is killing it with gumbo and beignets they don’t need a whole restaurant let pecos remain
Electric Umbrella introduced new pizza less than a year before it closed, so I don’t think it means anything
