This series you guys are producing is awesome. Some really great insights, I think the biggest thing to take from this series for me is. Identifying your particular swing type is really important. Once you understand your swing type, you can identify the drills that will work for you and the there isn’t a one method fixes all. Scott Cowx is a legend.

You’ll probably have to do what I did which is purchase his certifications which he has two of them! They’re both around 200$ the first one is really good and the second was is advanced certification altogether there’s about 8-9 hours of zoom sessions with so much awesome info and detail! I contacted him thru Instagram and am now certified! And just had my first lesson with him over zoom and can’t say anything other than it was a game changer! Plus he’s only 175$ for an hour which these days is a bargain!

Do all this and you’ll be taking lessons forever and still be figuring out all those profound P positions. But I guess club fitters would love lots of details. All this happening in less than 1.58876 seconds( technically speaking). What happened with the other featured instructors? That’s show biz.

@@IAM-xf9ir the first certification goes over very important and relative numbers to make you a better teacher/player, it does touch on some of the patterns but before you can learn about those you must understand there is lots you can do to be a better player without changing your golf swing! The advanced certification which you must go thru the first to make it understandable goes thru all of his patterns and there variations! It’s out together very well in a zoom with multiple downloads so you can watch him and watch the slides he’s referring too! Tbh it’s probably the best 425$ I’ve ever spent on golf and it’s like 8+ hours of awesome information and how to make the correct changes

I have been working on the positioning of the trail elbow, as Scott instructed in this video. It feels a bit ackward at first, and building the muscle memory takes a bit of time, but it really works. My 8-iron clubhead speed was about 75 mph, with Scott's trail elbow fix,I was seeing 82 mph and much more consistent line. I am getting a couple mph more with a 3 wood and driver doing this, but with improved ball flight trajectory and line. For me, this is one of the best videos yet.
    Thanks TXG!

@Fernando Barbosa I can certainly appreciate and understand where you're coming from. The entertainment value for me in lesson videos is in watching the golfer attain improvements with tangible results in real time. I'm not necessarily looking for a swing tip from lesson videos unless there is something very specific I can relate to with my swing. Otherwise you're right, you can go deep deep deep down the rabbit hole of swing tips and have a terrible time.

One big piece to the puzzle I didn’t notice mentioned with the elbow positions is the physical capabilities. A lot of your normal guys can’t pass a 90/90 test in golf posture. For them it doesn’t matter what the do they are not able to get the elbow pointed down at the top.

I feel like some of these swing thoughts only apply to the modern rotational swing and will completely ruin the traditional, classic swing that uses a more handsy release. While I'm sure it's great advice to rotational swingers, guys who aren't athletic can't generate the speeds required in a rotation swing to match their classic swing, and it may end up ruining both swings for them.
