Hey Soda:) abt 3 weeks ago I went up to my pond to try catch frogs (I caught 3) and when I was filling up my bucket with pond water I ended up scooping up a baby newt:) it was so cool😎 I obviously put the newt and the frogs back after😌

kuhli loaches are my favorite fish to keep, I just think they are neat. Sadly one I have had for 10 years just died last week, she just got thinner and stopped eating, she was the first fish I bought for my tank so long ago.
If she lived for 10 years and not 10 seconds I bet you are the best owner that your baby couldve ever asked for :) anyways the reason I said not just 10 seconds is because of how many poor babies just get massacred the first 10 seconds of their life :((

I always scatter fed mt late hamster and he seemed to enjoy it! He was almost entirely blind and he was always slow to respond to smelling things so it took him a little extra time but he always picked out his favorites from the food
I would recommend you replace the metal bells with cleansed seashell bells (you can make them yourself and even hide treats like millet clips inside like little pearls, or use lava rocks as the little bell tongue as birds can benefit with a bit of a fun beak trim, same thing with perches and talon trimming.

Hey soda! Just wanted to tell you, I used your advice for when I MIGHT, get an axolotl, and thanks for showing you feeding them so everyone knows what to feed them.
my lovebirds eat the same food as your cockatiels :) They eat the roudybush crumble size and i give them each about a tablespoon of seed. (they have 2 separate dishes so they dont fight) then they have their 'chop dish' for random veggies and herbs
This is just peaceful to watch and since i have to distract myself bc my grandparents had to euthanize their dog today bc she had cancer so this is such a good video to distract myself

I relate to the fishkeeping part so much- goldfish are all fun and games until they get sick for no reason at all (especially if they're pet store fish) and all you can do is throw medication at them while hoping for the best. I wish fish vets were more accessible and that I can afford them :(
I also feed the crumble to my cockatiels. But for seeds I pick and choose the individual seeds that they can have. And then I mix them all together in a jar myself

Obviously seeds are not a diet, but cockatiels actually do need more seeds than other parrots. The ideal is for them to always have pellets and seeds (obviously the seeds being a high quality mixture with very few to not having any sunflower seeds) and also having fresh chop everyday twice a day
Yeah I always try to pick out as much sunflower seeds as possible but God damn they put so many in cockatiel seed mixes, thankfully Tofu is the only one that actually eats sunflower seeds but I think I'll just spend a day picking them all out oneday lol
Question, is their a good method for bunnies so they can be friends, I have a 4 month old bunny and a 11 month old bunny we are trying to get them along but in case I wanna know you know better method, our cat loves the bunnies and will mother them as if they were her own babies. She was born on April fools and has had her own children, our other cat isn't acting like they are prey anymore and she will luckily come up and sniff. The two cats hate each others guts, is there a way they can be friends, its been a year and pip won't leave my mothers room cause of ashla, she will attack Ashla. Pip isn't used to other animals except my bird dave. Any advice?
My dad owns fish and the plants in the tank have Gray stuff on them(the plants) and the tank is really dirty but he just will not clean it so I’m worried b it the gray stuff is like fuzzy and growing on the plants do you think they will be okay plus the tank is way to small for the fish in the tank

ik that i’m not soda or anything but here are some tips i have from my baby cockatiel !! -be prepared to take the cost of toys, food, vet visits, etc. along with the cost of the bird itself -cockatiels are very emotional, so they require a lot of time to be spent with them (and take them out of the cage frequently) -make sure you have a trusted place to board your cockatiel and take care of it while you’re out of town -use natural wood perches, because sand and dowel ones could cause arthritis and pain. -give them a variety of pellets, fruits, veggies, and try to limit the seed intake as it is fattening -while bathing them, don’t put them directly under water, because they will suffocate. some like being sprayed, some like flapping around in water, so it really depends on how the bird thinks. -rub/pet them gently, and never on the body, only the head, face, and neck as it makes them hormonal which can cause depression, aggressive behavior, and excessive biting -make sure they have plenty of toys and space to flap around in their cage! -remember to take the responsibility of refilling food/water, cleaning the cage, etc. and please try to adopt from a rescue center or ethical breeder! (this comment is definitely not all the research required, so thank you for doing extra research. hope this helps!)
I am extremely jealous rn. Pets are like a whole new world to me. I do have quite a bit of pets (axolotl two fish tanks a tortoise and two dogs) but I just feel like some animals need a better home because if the many animal abusers out there who torture animals for views and often target easily influenced kids. I find it horrible and it always pains me to watch it. Watching your videos makes me happy knowing that there are people who take care of animals really well. Keep it going! 😃

You seem really knowledgeable about all your pets so I’m not sure if I’m mistaken, but it looks like you only have one neon tetra in that community tank? They get stressed out if they’re not in groups of 6 or more, as do a lot of the other schooling fish in that tank, like corydoras and rasboras, but I couldn’t count those. I’m guessing you already know and are just in the process of getting new ones or something, but just a heads up on the off chance you didn’t. Edit: Sorry I just saw another neon tetra! Maybe I just didn’t see all of them haha. It was just odd since they weren’t schooling.
Hello. I’m a newer bird owner, I was wondering because my cockatiel refuses pellets, he is on a seed diet but he eats chop every day and is very healthy so far. I have tried multiple different types of pellets but I can’t seem to convert him. I’ve researched this a lot but nothing is working do you have any suggestions?

Hello. I’m a newer bird owner, I was wondering because my cockatiel refuses pellets, he is on a seed diet but he eats chop every day and is very healthy so far. I have tried multiple different types of pellets but I can’t seem to convert him. I’ve researched this a lot but nothing is working do you have any suggestions?
