CUCV - M1009 - Removing the last flex plate bolt and taking out the flywheel.

  • After probably more planning and double checking than any other flexplate removal, this one is finally out.
    Used 4 1/2 “ x 3/8” Bolts on the bottom 4 transmission mounting bolt holes so I could just slide the transmission back far enough to get the flexplate and torque converter separated and get the flexplate out hopefully make reinstall alignment easier.
    Now that I know what is involved, as with most things, if I ever had to do it again, I’ll know what to expect.
