I played it on repeat for like 2 years growing up and thought for the longest time I was the only person who had ever heard of it. That first mission is engraved in my brain.

@@Site17 No 30 minute cutscenes, no microtransactions, no lag, no repetitiveness, no bugs, couch co-op mode... I'd say it qualifies to be better than most modern AAA games. Now if you want to question the quality of the mini games, that's an entirely different beast.

I'd actually like to see a modern take on a Jackass game, one where you can sort of create your own challenges and maybe share them online with people, doubt it would make a lot of money but it would a cool little game I think.

Fun fact about the Ryan Dunn poo dive is that he was floating above a grinder essentially which churns the waste, he was inches away from death and yet gave us some of our fondest memories.
One of the gnarliest things I've ever seen to this day.
This concept actually isn't all that bad for a Jackass game, but it would have been better if you could edit the maps and create a kind of custom obstacle course for each segment, with you getting points for the more creatively you manage to cause chaos.

The jackass game is actually extremely fun. I also understand why because TH-cam and copyrights but the soundtrack for this game also completely fucking slaps and it's very sad to hear and see without the soundtrack

I LOVED this game when I was 13. But I had the PSP version, not the PS2 one. It was one of the few PSP game I actually completed.

This actually looks like a lot of fun. I wish I'd picked it up back then when we were still meeting with buds at their houses and sharing controllers around one TV rather than just sitting at our own homes with mics online.

this was actually one of my favorites on PS2, the game was just so crazy it kept you wondering what it was going to have you do next.
also PS2 was the last console I owned, became a PC-only gamer right around the time PS3 first came out.
Had the game on the PSP and it was perfect for that. Loved the pachinko and the big ball minigame especially. And the exploisive golf. And the snow ball game... the longer i watch the more I remember. Such a great game back then.

My favorite event was the drinking and driving mini game with Ryan Dunn.
I got no sympathy for drunk drivers. Especially rich ones. He got his friend killed as well from something that took all of a phone call for an Uber or taxi.
I actually played that game when i was a kid. I loved jackass back then and their game had really fun mechanics and physics. What a throwback...

Man, I absolutely loved the PS2. I have to admit though, I had no idea this game even existed haha. A current gen version of this kind of game could actually be something pretty amazing I think.

There were some really terrible games from that era. Remember Christmas time, going to Walmart, and seeing the 3 pack of PS2 games for 20 bucks, but these were games that never appeared in any if the gaming magazines 😂

Jackass games were actually so fun back then to be honest. I remember playing this with a friend's house, passing the controller one by one competing for who has inflicted the worst injuries.
This was a staple of my childhood. It's seriously so much fun, even today. Great game.
The PS2 era was when games look polished enough to be playable in 2024. The style of that era is such a vibe. The last true era before everything went online.

The movement of characters looks so much more realistic than most new gen games now a days
