One oversight is the fact that many of the Scot’s Irish that settled in the region were recent descendants of Scottish Border Reavers, who have been described as light cavalry and had generations of experience in Scottish border wars. This also partially explains why they didn’t have great loyalty to the English Crown. My ancestors, the McCollochs, in the Wheeling area were noted horsemen. John established McColloch’s Traders Trail and was a trader, who supplied Bouquet’s forces, particularly livestock feed from the South Branch Valley.

The British Crown had decapitated and displayed heads for years before 1700's. Henry VII and his daughters Mary and Elizabeth I. Even before then, beheadings and displaying the remains was not unheard of.

True, Historians rarely fully consider geography or understand how geology impacts history.

Good video with one important exception. At no time during these events was there ever one French resident in New France for every 10 British residents in the American colonies. The ultimate outcome was always somewhat obvious.

What is the purpose of titling this video "American Revolution". Fort Duquesne was during the French and Indian War. And it was beaver, not deer, that was the object of the French.
