Great episode. Had the pleasure to visit Pittsburgh and point state park back in May. Was hoping to visit this museum as well but unfortunately could not. Very excited to see that the Battle of the Wabash gets some attention at this museum as well. It’s strikingly similar to the Braddock campaign in so many ways
The description of European battle field tactics in the 1760s is a bit too simplified. The seven years war saw the extensive use of light troops and skirmish tactics in Europe, especially by the Austrian army. It is true that there was the tendency to do line battles but there were also developments that saw the successful employment of light troop tactics on the battle field.
