JFC! I thought you were trolling us until the video got to the 6:20 and one could see the air filter housing. Unbelievable. Glad I got the first generation (2012) where it comes out so much easier. Nevertheless, good job posting this video so folks can tackle this job on their own 👍
Many thanks for this video, I never would have had the idea that it can be so complicated. Seems the crazy (or funny?) engineers made a competition to make it as complicated as possible - or to maximise the service hours for the workshops. But its similar, also if only to check the brake fluid or to change the clock battery...crazy...
Carb removal is easy, and spark plug is not bad , while engine oil is okay, but filter removal is a bit frustrating.. The fourth regular maintenance item , the air filter, is just stupidly difficult. It would have been so easy to make a pop-off part of the side , to allow access to the few top air box screws. Without Mitch's almost perfect videos, we d-i-y repair people would be cursing Piaggio.designers.
the only thing wrong, or its just different on my scooter is that to remove plastic above the backlights, you have to pull out the light at the same time as pulling the plastic above them up. (if the backlight dont move then obviously you didnt unscrew all the screws)

Congratulations to the Piaggio's engeniers, for changing a simple air filter you have to remove everything, clever team, bravo!!! 😡

Step 1: disassemble the whole bike to be able to get to the air filter
Step 2: change the air filter

You can take out the box without😊 removing all this man wtf😊
No you can't on this model! Screws were behind the plastics and it's just a domino non-sense of plastic to remove before to reach the filter box!
@madbrov Your right. Take Out the komplett Box, than open it.
