- We thought it was time to take the puppy with us on a filmed walk to see how he would cope and if it was even possible to film with him in tow. A practice run!
Our aim was to walk from Marazion to Perranuthnoe, a flat and easy walk, with plenty of closed in stretches, ideal for attempts at off-lead walking. This stretch of coastline has the added benefit of glorious views of St Michael's Mount and a delicious hot chocolate at Perranuthnoe. It was a bit blustery with wonderful tumoltuous seas!

We are Sarah and Andrew and we film our walks around Cornwall and publish on TH-cam, usually weekly. Sometimes we stay in accommodation in Cornwall and upload our vlog. Sarah is fascinated by sea glass and likes to collect it so there may be the occasional sea glass video too. The channel is a hobby and we both have normal day jobs!
We love your comments and read all of them. We also answer as many as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot answer comments received more than a week after publication.

How do I find the books you use?
Most are still in print although some we pick up in charity shops and may be available on Amazon secondhand. Please refer to the video for the book titles. Every video shows the book three times. Sorry but we can’t put a link in every description.
Best time of year to visit Cornwall?
We love May, June for flora and fauna, July and September for spectacular scenery.

The sign of a happy doggie walk is muddy paw prints on jeans, a fabulous first filmed walk in a glorious location. The weather was a challenge but adds to the fun, love to see the two boys running together ,,,,,,,Brian&Jane.

Very blustery. I love going out walking in the rain, with all the gear on of course. Not many people out so it feels quite nice having places to yourself.

I think from that we can deduce the new puppy's name is Chaos! I well remember those early walks, or should I say drags. The lead untangles, the muddy pawprint jeans, although I never had the confidence to let either of my fur babies off the lead so soon. Would love to see you do this walk in sunnier, less windy times as the view is breath-taking.
It's a great stretch of coastline! And little puppy is gaining confidence so he may be back on the lead again soon!! Sarah :)

I love these walks. I had to rewind it about five times to get the last terrible joke due to the wind. They are so bad I would hate to miss one.

Oh! My, what a wild wet and windy day for junior’s first real outing, he loved every minute of it, and senior brown dog kept a constant eye on him like his parents, it’s such a joy to see you all full of enthusiasm 😅 puppy 🐶 has such a sweet face he makes your heart melt! I hope the Cabin Cafe is well anchored down it was in a very exposed place, and I Imagine there is much more rougher weather to come over the winter! you might have to invest in designer rain wear and wee little wellies for our canine friends, thanks for entertaining us again Sarah & Andrew, puppykins did really well 👏👏👏

I adore a blustery day by the sea, though I kept thinking about the shipwrecks you've featured on your channel. A healthy respect is due, indeed. Lovely to watch Brown Dog and Poppet frolicking through mud and bracken. I do have a pet voice, though that was not the one I used last night when my cat kept running back and forth across the top of the TV cabinet while I was watching a murder mystery and digesting my Thanksgiving dinner. We too have had wind, though it's been very intense to the east of us, in the mountains. Dry winds, called Santa Anas, come from Arizona and blow toward the Pacific Ocean. I can step outside and smell the desert, so I know what you mean about the smell of the sea. I love it too, and will need to head to the coast soon for a walk. I'll skip the marshmallows, but hot chocolate does sound good. :)

Hello Sarah and Andrew ,what a joyfull video this is , lovely to see that both doggies are going on so well ,we've been through this as well got our 2nd golden retriever 1,5 year ago ,and it's always an adventure walking them ,they love each other !Luckily we spend our holidays in cornwall near bude ,it was fantastic !!The doggies loved the beach we had so much fun.walked to the cheesewring as you recommendet it was amazing!!!Thank you for making all this wonderful videos and walks for us.greetings from hamburg....btw we talk puppy/baby language sometimes😂😂😂 I must admit

What a fun video. And such stunning views of the wild and windy seas around St. Michael's Mount. You certainly threw yourselves & the doggies into the deep end with the weather for a first walk! Mr. Scrumptious 🐶 and Baby Scrumptious🐕 are a joy to watch and isn't it great when you actually find somewhere open for drinks ☕☕and cakes 🍰🧁when you least expect it. The Cabin Beach Cafe
Try their Bacon Sandwiches they are fab. Must have been at least 5 years ago but I still remember the Bacon Butties.
4 months and off the lead, (insert shocked face), our puppy monster is a few weeks older (possibly, depending on when yours was born), and there is no way I would let him off the lead as he would be gone and never seen again. Great video.
Ahhh! Ours was born on 10th July, and his character is hesitant and a bit anxious at the moment! It may all change once he gains his confidence or course, but we will be ready for that!! Sarah :)

We have just come back from Cornwall, stayed at Wheal Grey , just up the road from where you filmed and yes what a week for wind and storms. The waves at Cape Cornwall and Crown Tin Mine on Thursday24th were fantastic.

That was amazing! ~ so impressed with you two and doggies for braving the wonderfully wild elements! ~ my favourite Cornish weather pattern, especially with the sound and fury of crashing waves :) Puppy did incredibly well for his first proper filmed outing...and, yes, genuinely heart-warming to see senior doggy's spirits so lifted with his new brother. Much relieved that beautiful café was open for you for some much needed respite from the weather...maybe they should rename it: 'The Welcome Inn'! A tip given to me many years ago with an extra lively strong puppy is to put the loop of the lead around your wrist like a bracelet, and hold the lead itself (just in front of the loop). Fab video! ~ I've missed Cornwall so much this year x
The Cabin was a welcome sight and much required for puppy to take a break before the walk back. Great tip about the lead! We also deploy the tactic of a 180 degree about turn which totally confuses the doggy and meant to make them think twice about striding forwards! Sarah :)

Wonderful windy walk S and A and the waggy tails. Thank you. Little puppy and big dog so happy. Yes I do the silly voices - baby baby and kissy kissy voices even though she is not a puppy. So nice to watch your windy experience while sitting on a sunny sofa (sunny today). No mud here and no risk of my specs being blown away! Andrew, I watched it all. I was smiling like a madwoman most of the time because of the wagging tails. Also glad you both had a good sugar hit in the cafe😊🌊🌊x

Very enjoyable video! And the puppy is so cute. Happy and playful and the loving relation between the two dogs is very obvious 😍And you two are obviously great dog "parents" 🤩 It is really interesting and amazing to get a view of this area in winter. So different from what it was this summer! I don't have pets now, but I had a couple of goldfish when I was 10 and a hamster when I was 15. I don't remember my voice, but I believe I used a slightly higher pitch now and then when my two sons were toddlers 😂 Thank you for sharing. Torunn 🥰
