Brilliant! How did this conversation play out? Is this one single conversation you had with the bot in advance and then used as the script? Really curious to see how you made this one, would be cool if you did a Behind the scenes at some point :)
1. wrote the script
2. sent the script to erusha and got her recording
3. recorded my lines of the script
4. put the two audio recordings together and worked on the timing until I felt like it was right
5. listened to the audio recording until I had the whole thing memorized
6. recorded the video in my studio with the original recording playing at super low volume in the background so I could hear erusha's lines. phone was completely off during recording. took about 2 hours to get a usable take
7. without moving the camera or my phone, recording a few shots of chatGPT 4o saying a couple of random sentences
8. edited the video of chat GPT4o saying random sentences on top of the other video to make it look like it was just one video
9. used keyframes to get rid of the bad shaking of the mic during the app rant section of the video

@@PrograError Kind of-green screens are usually used to remove something, but that wasn't necessary here as the phone was in the exact same location in both shots, so I just 'copy and pasted' one (the one that was 'saying random sentences') on top of another (the one that was off). Cheers!
I love how many iterations this thumbnail and title has gone through. Is it running a randomization algorithm through chatgpt???

Interesting he chose to be a tsukkomi instead of boke, seeing how boke usually affords more outlets for creativity which AI certainly doesn't excel at. But he made it work with more elaborate creative tsukkomi.

Wow, I just finished watching "ODD Taxi" Anime which has a whole subplot about a Manzai duo. So I needed this.

I've been trying to get my sister (who is also learning Japanese) on the pitch accent band wagon with me, but she refuses. No matter what I say, it falls on deaf ears.
I said, using the wrong pitch accent is like pronouncing the word "lighthouse" as "lightHOUSE" instead of "LIGHThouse." She scoffed at me. Then I said, "or like pronouncing"international as "INternational" instead of "inTERNAtional." Every time, she just says, "but you can still tell what they meant."
This analogy might not work with English because we're used to foreign accents and tend to give lots of leeway for it.
That because pitch accent isn't worth doing for someone that learning Japanese. That for people that want to pretend their Japanese.

Just tell her that to learn to actually speak Japanese you need to learn pitch accent because it is literally required to actually speak it.
@@bitfreakazoid Static representation of accent in dynamically spoken language are mostly pointless because if you have to think about how to say something you are already failed. Therefore waste of time you will get better based on frequency of conversation and exposure to content.

The resetting chat log while not actually resetting it part is a genuinely unique neta that is both humorous enough and not replicatable by humans. It's still a neta that a human may come up, but not a neta a human can act without prebuilt context.

"What the hell? Did is advance that far? This will be such a good language tool if it's that responsive, clear, and natural sounding."
I thought you just gave it custom instructions to go along with your comedy skit.
You could do this for real with ChatGPT or other AI models with some programming knowledge and a script its been trained on. Probably would need multiple takes with the responses fed through another custom trained model for a natural sounding voice, with some sneaky editing to reduce the response time to make it flow like a real conversation. That's pretty much how Google fibbed in their Gemini marketing video.
