I've been watching for years. You've been inspiring this 70+ year old to try new things in my very loved gardens. You amaze me with your energy, great attitude and best of all common sense! I lost my husband eight months ago and after being together for 50+ years, I think I would have lost my grip, if I hadn't become even more obsessed with growing plants. This is my third year starting seed trays and I've become a flower seed-a-holic! I am really excited to try new plants that have a chance in my Sierras climate! Right now my cabin looks like a mad scientist lives here with seed trays, racks and grow lightsin the kitchen and my laundry's washer and dryer covered in plants and lights...and right now I am looking at feet of snow! I always talk about you to friends and famiy, and they know you as my guru! I thought it would be good for you to know your effect on this oldster retired schoolmarm and that I think you are one hell of a teacher!

You may not realize how valuable the organizing and clean-up videos are but if one is a gardener, crafter, DIYer, the need for lots of”stuff” is sometimes overwhelming. I really appreciate how you organize without overthinking the project. I also love how you re-home previously loved objects. Spring is the time we tend to want to clean up, purge, sort so these videos are timely. Thank you!

I have been very successful at propagating my Brown Turkey fig by dipping the cuttings in rooting hormone powder and them placing the cuttings in a pot full of moisten sand. Yes , sand, not soil . Then I place a plastic bag on top for humidity and leave for a couple of weeks. Them I take the plastic bag off and after a month or so I wiggle the cutting to see if it feels firm. If so, them we have roots. So I transplant it to a pot with potting soil and let it thrive.

I had my epic fail, tried pre sprouting a few Ranunculus corms, after two weeks I checked them and they are completely rotten. I Give lol. Out of 18 corms last year, 4 grew and 1 bloomed. Just 1 single bloom before they died back. I’m
