Honestly, the transportation infrastructure improvements are quite possibly the single biggest sign of Universal's confidence in the success of Epic Universe. Not only are they helping pay for massive new roads to be built, but they are also planning for buses and an eventual train connection to Brightline. Getting to Universal is going to be a breeze, compared to Disney.
I find it interesting the number of launch coaster the park will open with. Must of liked the success of Velosicoaster. Surely this will make Universal even more of a direct threat and competition to Disney.

This is so exciting, I just can’t get over we are getting an entire new theme park, I can’t wait! Hopefully the success of this will push Disney to create a new park because they desperately need it too
I would rather they fill out the parks they have. Hollywood studios needs another land, magic kingdom needs to finish their redo of Tomorrowland, Epcot needs to do something with the dirt pit and empty buildings, and animal kingdom needs to redo dinoland.

Disney is creatively bankrupt all they run is nostalgia now and not making theme parks number 1. The Michael Eisner era was the best era he cared for the Parks unlike Bob Igor who only cares for money.
I’m so impressed by the progress here - it feels like they could *easily* be open six months earlier if they wanted. Though I can see the sense in not rushing it and leaving loads of time for testing, training and refining. Great video as always - I love that keep the videos short, concise and information rich rather than dragging things out.
The logistics of building a theme park with everything being 100% custom and themed and immense must be a nightmare I don’t know how they can do that. Props to those smart people.
I think this is really neat what you are doing. It is very interesting to see the progress and to see the lands coming together. I am looking forward to seeing the park when it is all built. I find it interesting about each individual land having their own themed "portal" to be transported into whatever themed world you are entering.

Just using their lingo lol. I think things like the large gothic chateau of Dark Universe, or Bowser's Fortress are still being considered "weenies," but there's a chance there will be literal beacon lights atop these tall elements on the portals, almost like lighthouses for travelers within the hub!

That new "themed" paint could be wear testing to see how it fades under direct sunlight. Far more likely than affirmations about the state of construction schedules.
Shout out to Universal Studios for putting in that work and getting things built in a timely that are also new and unique style attractions. Its wild how Universal is rivaling Disney World.
This video series makes me so excited for this park! I am still wondering how Universal will handle the awful smells from the sewage plant next door. Every time I drive by I gag! I hope that it doesnt stink the park up too much. 😅
I can’t wait I have my epic universe funds saving started as of January of this year I plan to stay on the onsite hotel at the park when reservation become available I’m booking my room asap because I know the rooms will go quick
There almost certainly will be another How to Train Your Dragon movie released just before or after the opening of the park and I'm here for it. Already one of the best film trilogies ever made.

Can you imagine Starfall Racers in May when the schools are going on field trips to Epic Universe? Those kids will definitely have a blast “racing” each other on that thing.
I still remember going on my field trip to Universal in eighth grade and me and my friends splitting up on the duelling dragons coaster(RIP). I can already see it
I get it’s still two years away but every coaster in the park seems to have a very basic “station coaster” very much what you’d find at Cedar Fair or Six Flags. Unless the idea is to build the coasters first so they can start testing, and then build theming and queues around it

Universal should build an automated light metro between epic universe and either near the water taxi stop or from each deluxe resort to keep that sort of vip transport you get when you stay there
Is the Yoshi Omni-Mover a clone of the one in SNW USJ? Or will it have a slightly differing layout? I would love to know if anyone has attempted to compare the construction of both parks, and perhaps a time-lapse of photo documentation of the construction. (Although such thing is hard to do considering Japan's construction filming laws, so may be highly unlikely.)
Yoshi’s Adventure is expected to be pretty much the same as the first one built in Japan. And the layout looks identical. The courtyard area in the land is slightly larger though.
Our first time checking in on EVERYTHING for Epic Universe in awhile, because there's just SO MUCH going on!

From the style of the statues in the Dragons land it seems to be set during the time period at the start of the 3rd film.

How far out does Universal allow hotel bookings? I'm strongly looking at a November / early December 2025 trip to also get in the Christmas theming.
I suspect we will see bookings for these new hotels open sometime next year, maybe a year ahead of official opening at most?
I'm so excited for this park! The parking lot worries me though. Hopefully as things progress, we see permits pulled for a parking garage 😅
