I’ve gotten lucky (maybe) with totes. So far they have been free. Well close enough to free, the guy wants a 6 pack🍺 a tote. Some are dented, some have wood pallet bottoms that need replacing. But all in all..good. I did have a few that had concrete dye..absolutely a mess. Haha Merry Christmas bud 🎄
Good deal! I have scrounged some for free, but its usually one or two here and there and I end up spending too much time driving to/from getting them. I now try to maximize my time by getting at least 6 at a time and if I have to pay a little for them, thats fine with me.
Hard to believe the cost of used totes, you used to have to pay someone to take them away. Nice update video, nice looking loads of logs 👍 Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄🎁
I keep hearing stories of places that get rid of them for free, but I have yet to secure a reliable source. On FB marketplace its not uncommon to see $75-$100 asking price for clean totes. Maybe there are people out there paying it, but I'm not.
I had a similar but not as dire situation with the first batch of totes I bought. Never again. I don't care if they're free, if they still have chemical substances in them, I'm not interested.
I've had some mulch dye totes before where it appeared the totes had been sitting a while and all the dye was dry - those weren't bad to deal with, but these "fresh" ones were nasty!

Totes can be a challenge depending on what was in them.

I get 80-125$ for totes they sell like crazy
@@hunterr4581 crazy how supply and demand works. We used to cut them up for scrap metal 🤷
Thats a great price for logs, here in central PA that would be $1000.
WOW! I don't think I'd buy it for that much
