Another suggestion is set the stick configuration in game to "Legacy" Set WSAD to Pitch Up/Down and Roll left/Right as mentioned But your mouse movement (Right Stick) is Pitch UP/Down and YAW Left/Right. (Legacy) It gives you much finer aiming when leading targets I found. I made this into a "Aircraft" sub-config in the infantry profile. Commo Rose and Squad Reinforcement/command shares the Commo Rose Sub config with "Alt" as turn assist and some macro buttons on my G502 within the Logitech software IE: Commo Rose : I switched the Middle wheel click to macro " Alt + ." ("." being assigned to RB) Squad/Reinforcements : A side Mouse button is macro Alt+/ (LB and RB both assigned to /) So it activates turn assist and LB+RB simultaneously I have my vehicles and infantry working comfortable for me all in the infantry profile to make it a little more simple. I enabled and Tweaked around with Uniform Soldier aiming etc to make everything feel consistent for me.

@@XIMCentral I'll do a in depth post of my config in the forum. I've been gaming with a KB+Mouse since before Quake 1 (1997) but can't afford a high end PC. Haha. My configs are simpler and do no use any ads settings. Just in game settings tweaked. Which helps the vehicles. It's a smooth fluid feeling config with nice accurate aiming.
Could you make one for planes on the new Xim Matrix? I have no idea how am I supposed to put space on pitching up and left control or alt onto pitching down.
Hey, here is a short guide: - Name group A in your Matrix to NORMAL and group B to PLANE - Assign group NORMAL to your regular space and left control binding - Create 2 new button bindings, one for space and one for left control and give them the pitch up and pitch down controller action binding - Assign the PLANE group to these two - Create a third new button binding and give it the group toggle action to switch between these two groups (Toggle NORMAL Toggle PLANE) ==> By pressing this third button you now switch between your PLANE setup and the NORMAL setup.

That depends on how often and in which cases you use the ADS in vehicles. But yes if you experience turning problems when "going ADS" in vehicles then definitely use it for that mode too!

The firmware from back then used a different copy and paste code formant, so if you run on a very recent XIM Firmware you will have to manually adjust your config :(.
Hello again! General question about using the controller to use with aircraft instead of the Xim sub-config. In order to fly with the controller, would the in game sensitivity have to be set to minimum? Or would you set it as per normal as if you were playing with the controller? I was considering purchasing an Elite controller for flight games. Which the Elite has different height sticks and also ballistic curves within the app. Do the controller curves affect the Xim config?
Hey, the elite curves will only affect the controller but not the xim. Now as for your actual question, there are two scenarios to consider: 1) if your elite controller will also be your authentification controller then you should reduce the vehicle controller sensitivity in the game options to a value that you feel comfortable with the controller 2) if you use the elite controller as a second controller connected to your xim then you can either do the same as in 1), or you use a cross controller xim profile for the vehicles. Then you can keep the ingame vehicle sensitivity on maximum and adjust the stick sensitivities via the xim cross controller config.

@@marcochengdivi7396 Im pretty sure its the same with the controller, while you are in freelook your plane is in autopilot mode so you could stop pressing pitch up and freely look around. At least thats how i remember it.

Hey, this config video (especially the plane/jet config) is based on a XIM4 concept so it can also be used with a XIM4! :) Setup is the very same as in this video, the XIM Manager just looks slightly different :).
I do not have a keyboard at all, so I cannot bind fly up/fly down as shown in the second part of this video. I am trying to use Turn Assist to fly with a mouse but it's proving difficult.

Hey, this is because you most likely switch into your regular ADS config from your infantry when you press the ADS key. This is why you should consider to use an extra config for the vehicle so you cannot change into your infantry ads config when holding down the ads key.
Hey, most of them work with the xim, you may have to try it with your specific model. Alternatively ask in the xim forum if someone already tried it with your specific model ;).

Hey ich habe folgende frage, wenn ich in der thirt person camera mit einem Fahrzeug fahre das hinten ketten hat und vorne 2 Räder (du weißt bestimmt welches Fahrzeug ich meine) kann man sich mit dem rechten stick eigentlich komplett einmal umsehen wenn ich ihn drehe, jedoch mit der Maus kann man sich nur jeweils nach links und rechts eine viertel drehung machen dann hört es auf. Ich habe den turnassist probiert, damit funktioniert es auch nicht. Es funktioniert nur wenn man den Rechten stick zum Beispiel auf die pfeiltasten legt. Dann kann man sjch komplett drehen. Jedoch ist dann das Problem das man bei dem Fahrzeug typ vorwärts und rückwärts jeweils mit l2 und r2 steuert, das heißt mit der Maus. Würde ich das jetzt so steuern könnte ich ja nicht noch gleichzeitig die pfeiltasten betätigen um mich umzuschauen, da mir die 3. Hand fehlt, verstehst du? Lege ich die l2 und r2 taste auf
Hast du mal versucht die Entkopplung zwischen dem Zielen und dem Turm in den Spieleeinstellungen zu ändern? Das Problem ist dass eine Maus/Tastatur weniger Winkel abdeckt als ein Analogstick, probier aber zunächst mal das mit den ingame Einstellungen :).

Hey, you can bind everything the way you want to, this tutorial is just a guideline for one possible button layout. However check via the ingame controller layout if your desired setup works with the game or not. Then just bind your xim buttons accordingly.
Mhh habe bei den r Flugzeugsteuerung alles genauso eingestellt wie im Video beschrieben, doch leider wechelt der im Flugzeug auf der Leertaste den Sitzplatz anstatt die Nase hoch zu ziehen
Hast du die Anpassungen unter linker Stick auch vorgenommen? Die Box muss dort aktiviert werden und die WASD Tasten neu belegt sonst funktioniert es nicht. Außerdem solltest du die Leertaste in den generellen Tastenzuweisungen entfernen sonst führst du mehrere Aktionen per Leertaste aus und eine davon kann "Position wechseln" sein.

@@THUGSOLDIERSPS5 Der Grund ist deine Config welche nich für BF2042 ausgelegt ist. Eventuell wird das mit der BF2042 Config besser laufen. Garantiert ist dies aber nicht da das XIM sich auf Infanterie spezialisiert hat. Sollte es nicht gut funktionieren musst du im XIM Forum fragen ob auch ein Fahrzeug-Spieleprofil erstellt werden kann.

@@elcangry855 Hey, this sounds like your controller layout might be wrong or the ingame jet layout is not correct. The settings shown in this video are based on BF3/BF4 settings for the XIM from lots of years ago, so they should definitely work for those BF titles as well :).

@@elcangry855 I dont think i have access to BF3 anymore, so i cannot test it. Maybe check if your XIM Firmware is up to date, with very old ones a behavior similar to what you described was to be expected.
Getting good with planes will take a lot of time plus you need to learn to fly at the perfect speed to keep your maneuverability high. Planes have a very high learning curve.
Hey, instead of a vertical slider you have a left and a right arrow in the XIM4 manager with which you can cycle through the curve. The XIM Apex manager has those arrows too, if you want to make precise adjustments those are the way to go.
I will probably not do that unless DICE fixes the vehicle turning. They went for a totally different approach compared to previous BF games and it doesnt work out at all. Even with a controller vehicles are close to uncontrolable.
There isnt much difference between 100% and 200% actually, its just like 30% faster or so. Either way id recommend to use 200% so you can turn a little bit faster!

Hey, I wanted to ask about the XIM Polling rate, I know you did an entire video on it but when I tested my Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum on 500Hz polling and moved my mouse in rapid circles it never gets above 420Hz and usually stays between 350 - 230. What should I do? My DPI is 3000.

@@xCELDEmoNic Please watch the video about what polling rate you should use on this channel. It basically says that you should use the polling rate that is most consistent which for me is 250Hz but that's not supposed to be the case. You should use 500Hz.

Hey, yes it works with the xim and you set it up like the following: One of the two cables is for the data transfer, this cable goes into the xim. The other cable is for the electricity (backlight/rgb), please plug that cable into a different power source so not into your xim. You can plug this cable into your console, your pc or some other usb power source.
I have a problem....your settings are good but how can i disable pitch up and down with my mouse....? Because i loos my control of the plane....when i move my mouse up and down my plane make a roll...help me please....
You can use the swap stick function for that but it will not really increase your accuracy, the best thing is to get used to the plane aiming as with a little bit of practice the roll left/right wont be an issue anymore. Keep the config as it is and try it for an hour in the testrange against the cpu planes.

The xim cannot do it (as its against the console rules) but if your mouse or keyboard have a macro function then that will work. Or you use a device like the titan two with your script.
The xim itself cannot run macros, but if your keyboard or mouse has a macro function then you can use those that way with the xim (or via a macro usb stick such as the titan two).

@@raafatjabbar9521 I think theres a certain button combination that you have to press, which basically cancels out the crouch/stand fatigue. Those ximmers might use macros or scripts to pull this off much easier and faster. As you said with the controller is similarly fast, so there must be a trick with which you can courch faster. I havent seen such a person yet but i can try to look into it to find out how they do it!

@@XIMCentral I just did the same you mentioned for the infantry setting.. the setting works fine in the sniper but I just increased the sensitivity to 30 in hip fore for the assault.. then I added the setting of vehicle (tank) exactly the same of your setting but more sensitivity.. Your firmware is probably older than the one from this video, the config copy/paste code as been changed with the latest firmware as there was a bug. Update to this firmware, then the code will work (you have to update your xim and your xim manager): community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=72146.0

What settings do you have in controller tunning? Center deadzone, Axial deadzone, Max input threshold

Yes up and down are bound to the keyboard so you can perfectly fly dogfight circles.

You mean the free look mode while being in a jet/plane or when being in the infantry mode on the ground?

Hey, if you are using an analog stick like the sony nav controller then the jet config will not really work. The tank config should though.

Verstehst du wie ich das meine, hast du einen Lösung für dieses Problem?
Auf welche Minute beziehst du dich? L2 und R2 sind immer schießen und zoomen im Panzer, mit diesen fährst du nicht nach vorne oder nach hinten (es sei denn du hast das Controller Layout nicht auf standard für Panzer).

@@XIMCentral Ps4, Monitor mit 1ms, die Maus Bewegungen sind verzögert und kommen nicht konstant in der selben Geschwindigkeit. Ich traue mich schon gar nicht mehr meine xim apex zu benutzen wegen dem Vorfall mit der Maus und der Tastatur

Hey ich habe folgende frage, wenn ich in der thirt person camera mit einem Fahrzeug fahre das hinten ketten hat und vorne 2 Räder (du weißt bestimmt welches Fahrzeug ich meine) kann man sich mit dem rechten stick eigentlich komplett einmal umsehen wenn ich ihn drehe, jedoch mit der Maus kann man sich nur jeweils nach links und rechts eine viertel drehung machen dann hört es auf. Ich habe den turnassist probiert, damit funktioniert es auch nicht. Es funktioniert nur wenn man den Rechten stick zum Beispiel auf die pfeiltasten legt. Dann kann man sjch komplett drehen. Jedoch ist dann das Problem das man bei dem Fahrzeug typ vorwärts und rückwärts jeweils mit l2 und r2 steuert, das heißt mit der Maus. Würde ich das jetzt so steuern könnte ich ja nicht noch gleichzeitig die pfeiltasten betätigen um mich umzuschauen, da mir die 3. Hand fehlt, verstehst du? Lege ich die l2 und r2 taste auf
Hast du mal versucht die Entkopplung zwischen dem Zielen und dem Turm in den Spieleeinstellungen zu ändern? Das Problem ist dass eine Maus/Tastatur weniger Winkel abdeckt als ein Analogstick, probier aber zunächst mal das mit den ingame Einstellungen :).

Hey, you can bind everything the way you want to, this tutorial is just a guideline for one possible button layout. However check via the ingame controller layout if your desired setup works with the game or not. Then just bind your xim buttons accordingly.

Hast du die Anpassungen unter linker Stick auch vorgenommen? Die Box muss dort aktiviert werden und die WASD Tasten neu belegt sonst funktioniert es nicht. Außerdem solltest du die Leertaste in den generellen Tastenzuweisungen entfernen sonst führst du mehrere Aktionen per Leertaste aus und eine davon kann "Position wechseln" sein.
Kann man nicht mit dem setting auch was bei bf2042 anfangen ?
Ja sollte eigentlich 1:1 so in BF2042 funktionieren.

@@THUGSOLDIERSPS5 Der Grund ist deine Config welche nich für BF2042 ausgelegt ist. Eventuell wird das mit der BF2042 Config besser laufen. Garantiert ist dies aber nicht da das XIM sich auf Infanterie spezialisiert hat. Sollte es nicht gut funktionieren musst du im XIM Forum fragen ob auch ein Fahrzeug-Spieleprofil erstellt werden kann.

Hey, the Jet in BF3 works the very same as in BF4, BF1 and BFV so you can 1:1 copy this setup and use it in BF3 :).

@@elcangry855 Hey, this sounds like your controller layout might be wrong or the ingame jet layout is not correct. The settings shown in this video are based on BF3/BF4 settings for the XIM from lots of years ago, so they should definitely work for those BF titles as well :).
@@XIMCentral no I did try and I have the same setting for all my battlefield is like when you try to pull with s and if you got your hand on mouse it well ignored the keboard comand and just follow the mouse comand isn't like bf4 dosent do that plase check battlefield 3 and see it for you set in the jet and dosent give options to disable afterburner toggle plase make video on bf3 and you well see se if you can fixes the veichel and infantry
@@elcangry855 I dont think i have access to BF3 anymore, so i cannot test it. Maybe check if your XIM Firmware is up to date, with very old ones a behavior similar to what you described was to be expected.

Getting good with planes will take a lot of time plus you need to learn to fly at the perfect speed to keep your maneuverability high. Planes have a very high learning curve.
Anyone having problems with setting the ballistic curve for xim4? I am able to since there is not a vertical slider. Fix?
Hey, instead of a vertical slider you have a left and a right arrow in the XIM4 manager with which you can cycle through the curve. The XIM Apex manager has those arrows too, if you want to make precise adjustments those are the way to go.

I will probably not do that unless DICE fixes the vehicle turning. They went for a totally different approach compared to previous BF games and it doesnt work out at all. Even with a controller vehicles are close to uncontrolable.
Actual tank sensitivity to 100%or 200%?
There isnt much difference between 100% and 200% actually, its just like 30% faster or so. Either way id recommend to use 200% so you can turn a little bit faster!

Hey, I wanted to ask about the XIM Polling rate, I know you did an entire video on it but when I tested my Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum on 500Hz polling and moved my mouse in rapid circles it never gets above 420Hz and usually stays between 350 - 230. What should I do? My DPI is 3000.

@@xCELDEmoNic Please watch the video about what polling rate you should use on this channel. It basically says that you should use the polling rate that is most consistent which for me is 250Hz but that's not supposed to be the case. You should use 500Hz.

Hey, yes it works with the xim and you set it up like the following: One of the two cables is for the data transfer, this cable goes into the xim. The other cable is for the electricity (backlight/rgb), please plug that cable into a different power source so not into your xim. You can plug this cable into your console, your pc or some other usb power source.
I have a problem....your settings are good but how can i disable pitch up and down with my mouse....? Because i loos my control of the plane....when i move my mouse up and down my plane make a roll...help me please....
You can use the swap stick function for that but it will not really increase your accuracy, the best thing is to get used to the plane aiming as with a little bit of practice the roll left/right wont be an issue anymore. Keep the config as it is and try it for an hour in the testrange against the cpu planes.

is it possible to set up a macro for the xim? Im honestly not sure how they work but I know they Press a sequence of buttons you set it too (like the Cronus max)is it possible or only for pc?
The xim cannot do it (as its against the console rules) but if your mouse or keyboard have a macro function then that will work. Or you use a device like the titan two with your script.

The xim itself cannot run macros, but if your keyboard or mouse has a macro function then you can use those that way with the xim (or via a macro usb stick such as the titan two).

Das ist eine der älteren Beta Firmware welche nicht mehr heruntergeladen werden können. Am besten einfach die Config manuell nachbauen, so kannst du sie auch viel besser Individualisieren :).

@@raafatjabbar9521 I think theres a certain button combination that you have to press, which basically cancels out the crouch/stand fatigue. Those ximmers might use macros or scripts to pull this off much easier and faster. As you said with the controller is similarly fast, so there must be a trick with which you can courch faster. I havent seen such a person yet but i can try to look into it to find out how they do it!

@@XIMCentral I just did the same you mentioned for the infantry setting.. the setting works fine in the sniper but I just increased the sensitivity to 30 in hip fore for the assault.. then I added the setting of vehicle (tank) exactly the same of your setting but more sensitivity..

Your firmware is probably older than the one from this video, the config copy/paste code as been changed with the latest firmware as there was a bug. Update to this firmware, then the code will work (you have to update your xim and your xim manager): community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=72146.0
