idk if I've ever commented on your channel but about a decade ago I suffered a grade 2 tear on my QL doing some heavy squatting (heard and felt a pop mid-rep), later found out it was due to lack of mobility. foundation training (Specifically the OG workout video) were a GIANT part of my recovery and apart from injuries due to force (being stacked in BJJ by a guy 2x my weight for half a round, hitting the bottom while surfing, etc.), I've been injury free in my back. I owe a debt of gratitude to you all, thanks for providing content like this, it literally changes lives
@@namikazeomar8001 brother, I am not a doctor, so I am unsure about your condition, I'll just share what worked for me 1. yoga (recommend breathe & flow channel, tim senesi, and alo yoga) 2. foundation training 3. mobility work (improving ankle mobility, hip mobility, upper spine mobility, etc.) 4. body weight exercises 5. swimming for cardio 6. patience and modulation - don't push it, go by feel, go slower than you think you need to I didn't do BJJ when I tore my QL I just lifted weights, and I would say it took me about 6mos to get back to lifting with weights and even once I did I still went slow and haven't gone back to super heavy lifting (particularly squatting). when I tore a muscle in BJJ (intracostal) I took 2 full weeks off, then 4 weeks of drilling/class, then 4 weeks of very light sparring with only trustworthy partners who aren't much bigger than me
49 y/o BJJ Practitioner and foundation training has been a core component of my training routine for preventative measures and overall mobility. Since I started with the OG 12 minute video, it's made my training so much better. I noticed a difference within a week or so and ... no back pain. Ever.
fabulous. gives me such confidence that I can stay independent and fight the wasting of aging. I am 66 and dedicated to your teachings. I hope to show you a before and after photo once a year has gone by. Thank you for your sincere dedication to help others. A deep bow of gratitude.I could never afford these teachings otherwise. Nor would I have been exposed to them
Your exercises helped me a lot. I hope to return the favor to you in any way, and I do not see a better beautiful response than to pray to God to guide you to Islam.
At 82, I find this video the best way to keep my body flexible and strong! Thank you so much!
