Back in the day I used to skip school and go to Sega City in Indianapolis and hit the 'mech sims. Good times! I miss having locally-available pods.

Back in '92 me, a friend, and a seargent took a trip from Chanute AFB (we were in tech school and not supposed to leave base at the tme) up to Chicago to check out the Battletech Pods (and catch a White Sox game). I still have the VHS tape of my 'battle' in my MadCat Prime. (I think I exploded five or six times and never actually killed anything). Good times! Ever since then I've had it in the back of my head to build a battletech pod. With the modern mechwarrior games being what they are I might have to revisit that idea....
