  • If you live on the country you're probably on a well. Most systems will have a whole house water filter that needs to changed every so often. The filter is responsible for keeping sand and contaminants out of your water lines. Some 2 phase filters even have a carbon wrap to eliminate any well water taste as well.

    Its nice to have someone walk you through the process even if you have good idea how it go's! I learned something and I appreciate it! thanks! I thought I had the wrong filter but the water magnifies the size of it.

    Before I watched your vlog I couldnt get the filter off and the o-ring was leaking. I pressed the red button and it came right off and the grease on the ring stopped the leaking! Thanks again!

    Thank you. This was helpful! I use distilled white vinegar instead of bleach to rinse out the filter cover.

    On mine, that little red button is a pressure release, makes it easier to losen up.

    How often do u change the filter

    • @adameater
      @adameater  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      depends on how much sediment you have in your water among other things. I change mine once a month for good measure.

    OMG you are using way too much bleach. It does not work better under that high of concentration like we commonly think. Use about 1/10 of what you poured. Also dilute the wiping bleach or make a spray bottle. Easier on your skin. Also. EXCELLENT video! Great step by step. Thanks. *i bet there are good dilution charts online. I’ve been using bleach water for most of my cleaning for 25 years. no gloves, no issues to date.

    Bleach is absolutely awful for you don't use it. Also bleach is awful for your septic. Stop doing that and get some food grade silicone grease sir

    • @adameater
      @adameater  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You just use the bleach to clean with, after it is rinsed, so you're not actually introducing bleach into your system. Also, bleach is harmless in these quantities. The silicone is food grade btw.

      @@adameater do your research. Bleach is harmful in any quantity friend.
