- of course we provide TOO MUCH fuel for an engine, only a pump can ensure that, as vespa engines are always around starvation with fuel tap only.
its a HARDI fuel pump nr 13312, 12V, up2 60hp www.hardi-automotive.com/prod...

Hi ... Have fitted the same pump and swapped the float needle for a 200 but still over fueling on my 30mm phbh ... Running a malossi 178cc non reedvalve
Thanks Craig
interesting. pump should stop. carb should close. check floater stand.
Welche Spritschläuche nimmst Du denn? Die sind cool!
Baumarkt rehau raufilam
Werden auch hart aber meina...
Ok thanks so where do I connect the + and ~ ? If I put straight to the battery how will it turn off . In the diagram it shows it wired to the coil .
sorry, electrics is not my strength...
Can the fuel pump be wired straight to the coil ? Thanks.
No, always after the regulator
I am curious, why do these vespas need fuel pumps even if the fast flow tap flows very well? I dont even know of any motocross bikes that need fuel pumps and they suck much more gas. Is it because the carb is not directly under the tank like on regular motorcycles?
yes. 55-70cm hose length, it goes (with oil tank) down to foot board, then up again
If it pumps fuel efficiently as it does, I wonder if it would be as effective pumping Austrian beer....?!🤗🙃😉🍻🍺
Can you show the full size of the fuel pump please 🙏👍
wil see if i have pictures and put it on my facebook page
Sir,could you show the full instalation??Thank you
no vodoo there: 2 screws, plus minus, 2 hoses & done.
@@FreakMoPed8 so you just make a place for the bardi pump and connect + and - in the regular 12v10A battery?
Nice. Do you know how the pump knows when need to stop send fuel? Pressure differential?
yes, it slows down
Does it need to run of a battery, my 1978 p200e doesn’t have one ?
I would recommend, that the scooter has a battery, yes
Any chance of you doing a mechanical vacuum fuel pump. Thanks
its not recommended as it gets sticky and stuck due to the 2stroke oil
they are intented to use fuel only
Thanks for reply that’s very informative I didn’t know that, I’m running a mikuni vacuum fuel pump, I think I’ll change it every few years 👍
No need return ligne ?
No. Just a 200 = 2mm needle ventile.
Fuel ligne must have the same length ? Tank to pump and pump to carb ?
depends on where u put the pump
Can u give me a link please for electric fuel pump?
