    Thx man… frustrating that home and RV plumbing is different enough to require adapters for RV plumbing… been a nightmare on this end.

      It can be frustrating. Sometimes, it’s easier to cut off the ends and replace with standard fittings vs going through the adapter router route.

Confusing..I know !! Sure do need HELP !!!! Thanks for the video !

      It is a little confusing. If you want to send me a picture or two of how the lines are connected to the faucet, I may have an idea how to change. Email me at jerry@ilovervlife.com

    ...watched your faucet replacement video before I switched out our original faucet....it was a great help! Worst part was removing the old faucet due to lack of space under the sink. ....I also had to make a trip to the hardware store for the half inch to three sixteenths adapters and would reccomend getting them before starting this project.. Many thanks Jerry, and keep up the excellent videos!

      Thanks Joe. It was. Work space under the sink was a little small, but we're really enjoying the change. Joan said it now has more of the convenience of home.

    Jerry, Loved your video. I’m going to be installing a new faucet on my RV, but mine’s on the water, I want to get as much information on what I’m facing. Was a little worried in the beginning that you were going to put the hot/cold water lever in the front, was happy to see it on the side. Excellent idea on how to deal with the weight. Thanks for a great video.

      Hi Gary and thanks. Since this video we completed a small remodel of the kitchen, upgrading the island and some changes to the cabinets. We used the same faucet. th-cam.com/video/YRwLN9aafY0/w-d-xo.html There’s multiple episodes for the effort, but here’s the results. All has been working well.

    I just got an RV and dont know how to use anything, does the generator need to be on to use the sink?

    • @iLoveRVlife
      @iLoveRVlife  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Riena. Guess you're wondering about turning on the water at the sink? If you aren't connected to a water tap in the campground, you should have a 12volt battery and water pump. Fill the tank and flip the 12volt water pump switch. You'll need to watch your batter capacity. If it gets low you'll need to either plug in the RV or run the generator to recharge.

      Depending on the set up, you should have a house battery and a separate one that starts the engine. If the house battery is still in place, you should be able to turn on the water pump for the sink. if not, hope the generator would be an option.

    Jerry So we are looking to replace our sink in our Motor home. It has a tiny sink on the right and a bigger one on the left but we bought this motor home used and it is a 2005, and it is a kinda white but not porcelain and it has scratches in the sink and when I do dishes or pour a cup of coffee down the sink it turns the sink color which I hate. I want a stainless steel sink. But it is a sink that is put in the counter just like yours is in your trailer and I can't find one. I think that kind of sink is called is called in lay sink. I did find one that is a drop in sink. The motor home is 13 years old and they don't make the color of the counter top any more and it won't match the rest of the motor home. But watching your video we use a wok a lot too, and now I think I just want 1 big sink. The double stainless steal sink I found was on Amazon.com. But like I said it is a drop down sink. Thank you for taking the time to make your video's.

      Thank Denise. For some reason, RV sinks are an odd size. I continue to look and Amazon had a few that were close, but usually off an inch or so. I found a place that will make a custom size, but it was $400, way outside our budget. We'll eventually replace ours, but it's going to be a patience game until we find something that fits both size and budget.

      Thanks much. The change out wasn't to difficult. Our only issue was the area was a bit small to work around. The site is RV Chief's Prevost. Interesting project. He gutted this thing and rebuilt from the ground up. Quite a project.
