Single mom whose teenage son died in his sleep gets a touching surprise from Secret Santa

The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local Secret Santa give $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season.
Cecilia is totally dedicated to her work and family. She recently purchased her first vehicle after riding public transportation to and from her job. Rain, snow or shine - she would make it to work.
Cecilia is a single mom of three boys. Her oldest son just left for a mission. Just a few weeks ago, Cecilia went to wake her 15-year-old son to go out to breakfast but found that he had passed away in his sleep. This is any parent's worst nightmare, especially right before the holidays.
Secret Santa asked if we could find Cecilia and surprise her with an early Christmas gift. Check out the surprise in the video player above.

The way Nate handles these heart wrenching moments with such love, kindness and grace is astounding. There are no words for the loss of a precious child but thank you, Secret Santa, for loving on so many wonderful families.

I truly understand her pain. My 32 year old son went to sleep on his couch and never woke up. No one could tell me why. The not knowing has all but driven me crazy. I would tell her that there is one set of footprints in her sand. They are not hers, but those of our heavenly father that carries us throgh every breath we take. Thank you Secret Santa for paying off several funerals this year. It definitely made a difference.

I simply cannot imagine finding my child had died in his sleep, totally unexpected. This poor mother must have such grief in her heart. My heart goes out to you and your loss. I too have lost a child, remember you are loved. Although this is heartbreaking, in time it does get easier to deal with. At the time of my loss, I felt God needed his laughter in heaven more than I did. For me, this helped me moment by moment. Be grateful for the time you had with your son. He was a gift to you from God. God has big shoulders, speak to him; he will listen. I yelled a lot at God at the time of my loss. He helped me to begin to pick up the pieces. I hope this helped.
God doesn't mind you yelling at Him, He Knows what it's like as He gave His son for us 🙌
