    My God coming back to this 5 years later this is an unbelievable organic jam session captured on film. The drummer completely cooling down the song and then intensifying it is amazing. The control in that is just mental.

    • @jackattack8044
      @jackattack8044 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      william chassé a magnetic system built into the electronics that provide unlimited sustain and harmonic feed back. haven't seen one in a bass tho, that's cool.

    • @lmcf_gtr
      @lmcf_gtr 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      MrTaterWedges basically what he said, with two modes either echoing that one note or providing a harmonically similar note if it. Synester Gates uses one in his solos a lot, you'll usually hear it when a note goes into feedback quite I quickly.

      Ha, maybe, I guess I'm lucky in that my family don't seem to suffer hair loss at all. My dad's just turned 60 and still has the same thatch of natural brown hair he had at 20. Lee Anderton doesn't seem to have lost any hair either, he still looks exactly the same as he did a decade ago - and of course there's Mr Bouffant himself, Mick Taylor! Danish Pete is totally ageless too...

    I've always been fascinated by drummers, its so interesting to me to watch a proficient drummer navigate the kit. Ben hits the hi hat with his left hand, which has always been an instinct of mine (presumably because i'm left handed!). Perhaps i'll stop fighting that instinct and hit the hi at with my left hand as it feels comfortable! love the jam guys, groovy as all hell. That strat sounds amazing Bea!

The way Bea goes from these beautiful ambient runs into fully fledged erection-inspiring solo's...Dave's fat (dare I say...Phat) tone which I damn well love...and then the camera pans to Ben and he's like *"AAAAAAHHH I LOOOOOVE THIIIIS"* as he smashes the shit out of his drum kit (seriously love his energy)

    I swear when Rabea reaches for a guitar the fretboard must say quietly under its breath “crap not this guy again”. Rabea thrashes the fretboard end to end. There is no dusty end. Playing is so creative and brutal yet powerfully beautiful.

    I'm not a huge metal fan so I do really listen to much Toska or Dorje but this is could listen to all day. Fantastic playing all three of you guys. Man I love this chanel!!!
    There have been a number of landmark records that have really touched me deeply. The Cliffs of Dover by the fantastic EJ was one.
    Layla live in San Diego by Clapton and tedashi Trucks and Comfortablely numb by David Gilmore live at Pompey are others
    This is now added to my list. Simply amazing.

    Wow guys. I'm a new guitar player. 3 months in. And sometimes I get really frustrated. But Rabea, you are an inspiration. Your work seems to keep me going and drives me to continue learning. Artists like Mark Knopler, David Gilmore, and Rabea, just make me want to play more.

    Sweet, never a dull moment - well done!!
    People should pay special attention to how carefully the 3 of them listen to each other.... They've been playing together for many years, and they still LISTEN.. A key ingredient to successful music, especially with jams.

    Man I've had this on repeat for so many days, literally such good background music to game to haha! The transition from funky shreddy blues to the huge ambient section is just beautiful. The chemistry you guys have really is second to none, so satisfying to listen to.
