Dan is such a romantic. When Bea was doing the swells he just closed his eyes and sat in it like he'd never heard of That Pedal Show. I love the way he loves sound. It's such a pure thing. God love you Mr. Steinhardt. I very much appreciate your passion.

Steven Pippin that’s actually something I love about watching Rabea play too. You can always see while he’s playing that he’s not actually thinking SO much about where his fingers are and where he’s going next, you SEE him listening and trying to sound the best.

This is totally not the type of music I would listen to being an old classic rocker but I watched the whole of this episode. I was amazed at some of the sounds coming out of that rig. Bea is an epic player who' s passion clearly shows and I for one hope he has an equally epic future he should be right up there. Totally nice, friendly chap I appreciate his skill. Dan and Mick this is probably one of the best episodes if not the best you have done. I am dumbfounded thank you for this I don't think in all my years I have been so moved listening to something and opening my eyes to something new this coming from a player (30 watt amp Gibson Les Paul and overdrive). Epic. Cheers.

Although id say Asymetry is perhaps their harder of the albums to get into depending on what you're used to, I only mean in terms of being the most atmospheric and then working backwards in that sense if you get me. It is still a fantastic album by all accounts! And a fantastic bunch of guys too. Id actually say Themata is my favorite of theirs, if only because of the memories, an epic album!

It's probably not too much of a stretch to say it's a minority of TPS viewers whose main musical love is heavier prog/instrumental guitar stuff, though my own musical tastes do run the gamut. But Bea and Toska's stuff is squarely in my wheelhouse. It's been so satisfying to watch Bea's career blossom over these last few years. He is most assuredly the real deal, appears to be a truly decent human being and has become an incredible tonesmith. Same can be said for Dan and Mick - nice people working hard and sharing their passions = success finding like-minded audiences on the tube.
Truly awesome episode - fave line might be Bea's remark about his pedal board resembling a Google server farm. lol
Bea, for sure, you're tailor made to write soundtracks and scores for films - I won't be a bit surprised to see your name associated with people like Denis Villeneuve. Grand, sonically diverse music that you compose is perfect for equally epic sci-fi type films. Or even better, you might follow in Mick Gordon's footsteps and compose video game scores.
    Inevitable.... :)
    Cheers guys and stay safe....

I just started watching and I'm reminded of just how much weight Rabea lost a few years ago. Great to see him keeping it off, dude looks healthy! I weighed probably close to 240 most of my 20s, forced myself to drop down to 170 when I got diagnosed with hips needed replacing when I was 30. It's not easy to maintain, but damn Rab! Once we get bands playing shows again maybe a little love in Portland?

Heavy guitar isn't a sound that connects with me nor does music that feature it inspire me, but Rabea is so obviously a master of that tone and style. He is an incredible musician and it was a treat to hear the epic sounds he gets. Thank you all!

Give me patch 6 and some of those Waza-Air headphones. It would be transcendent
At about 35:38 I was seeing a jiggly slo-mo of planet Earth in its death throes. The atmosphere, oceans and ice caps cooking off in a ball of vapor. Then the plates slowly coming apart at the seams to expose the molten magma underneath and finally the core exploding under the release of pressure.but he didn't hit that last cataclysmic chord. Damn!
I saw Dan speechless. Mick wiping away a tear and Rabea going. yeah I might use that in the beginning of a solo or maybe a for a full measure.
I swear, the only thing not understated about Rabea is his playing. FMTT, he slays me

I’ve been a big fan of Rebea for years now starting with his work in Dorje with Rob Chapman and the other members of his current band Toska. He definitely has a very cool style and skill beyond compare. I hope that when this whole COVID-19 thing is over he and Toska can tour in the states I would love to see them live.

One of the coolest things about guitars and pedals etc is that it allows players to view the guitar thru a new vision and take the instrument somewhere else again. It’s always great to have the traditional players but always exciting to see where the players with a new vision choose to push the guitar sound too. Many Thanks again stay well everyone!
